Is this really all you're capable of posting? If you have anything that resembles a brain please at the least try to come up with something constructive even if you disagree with the person.
And that's fine. But why does basically everything has to be catered to the casuals instead? Especially the good old relic weapon, which used to be a long grind. Especially since they just use the old way of recycling content and grinding tomestones for it, so not much dev time is needed. Especially since casuals already get an ilvl 620 tomestone weapon without much effort which soon should be upgradeable to ilvl 630 with the 24-man raid.Strange how some like to keep using "casual" (or variations) as if it is a bad word when a casual gamer is someone who (usually) has their life priorities straight and can't treat a game like a full time job.
The big game developers aren't going to ignore the largest demographic that has the disposable cash to spend as they wish, especially not when it comes to a game like a MMO that greater development demands than a single player game. Because a much larger player base is needed to support the financial demands of the game, they're going to pay attention to feedback from all their players and not just the edgelords who think they're the center of gaming and that everything should be designed to cater to their egos.
What's even the point of this relic weapon? Why does it even exists? What does it add to the game?
It’s a good thing not to answer your enemies. I scarcely ever do. Perhaps Emily is more like me than I am like myself. Perhaps she would rather not answer her friends, even. She keeps it all in her heart.

You know FF16 has been in full development since 2016 right? If you're 100% correct that they pulled people from 14 to work on 16, then this "skeleton crew" has been with us since late Heavensward.

I mean at this point why not just make the tome weapon be the glowy weapon and drop the concept entirely?
Saving SE money and I'm not even getting paid smh

I sometimes want a meaningful grind also. Like grinding for a powerfull weapon and then being proud of my achievment. And then I can use my new powerful weapon to grind even better. No idea why only savage raiders think they need stronger weapons...
But why do casual players want to have the relic? Also just for the sake of it?

fun fact, most casual players complain that they don't have time to grind relic weapons but somehow they do have time for every level 90 job.
Because it looks pretty. If you want to be proud of an achievement through a weapon do savage or ultimate. Not really anything to be proud about with any relic tbh. Congrats, relic content didnt bore you enough to stop halfway through. yayI sometimes want a meaningful grind also. Like grinding for a powerfull weapon and then being proud of my achievment.
