AT THIS POINT in World of Warcraft

I mean, i dunno why people feel the need to compare WoW and FFXIV, outside of tab target combat, they both do their own thing. However I WILL say, as someone who cycles between both, Dragonflight is considerably more enjoyable than Endwalker has been so far.
I do also agree that Endwalker, content wise, feels a bit like WoD. Fairly barren. People will likely say they have loads to do, and that's fair, I'd assume they've not been playing since ARR like myself, and have kept up with FFXIV's patches since.
At the end of the day though, this is the nature of MMO's, they're always changing. They have their highs, and their lows. It just so happens FFXIV is in a low point right now and WoW is in a high point. Look at the Shadowlands/Shadowbringers era to see the opposite end of this. I've no doubt it'll flip again in the future.
Also the same relic step 2 times in a row is downright lazy design though, they didn't even try to do anything different.

Why do people keep saying we lack content? We have the same content we have always had. Allaince Raid, Raid, Trials, Dungeons, Random Alt EXP content (deep dungeon/bozja) Random thing to do (islands) This is how FF has always been. Why is everyone pretending like it isn't lol

Let me rephrase that.

We have the same 'watered down' version of content we have always had.

Many of the repayable aspects of previous expansions were replaced with One and Done content like Islands and Variants. There goes the combat content that kept people engaged during downtime, relic grind has been replaced with 'get 1500 tomes from doing exactly what you have been doing for the last 6 months of downtime'.

Endwalker is by far, my least favourite expansion in terms of content, and that says a lot considering Stormblood exists.
