Chances are they will give out free days to everyone affected, after all the delayed transfer has been completed. They may not be announcing it right now, because they are unsure how long it would take and how many free days should be given out. May be, may be not, but common sense says they would do it.
Call SE, tell them you want the days you haven't been able to play tacked on for free to the end of the month you paid for or you won't resub. They'll fix it for you. This has nothing to do with white-knighting it's about taking some responibility as a consumer.Spoken like a true Square Enix white knight. Call me crazy but I we kinda expected the Dev. team to do their job right (god forbid) and didn't think we'd need to check the front page in case it says "Don't reactivate or we'll screw you out of your money". In the years we've spent playing XI and the time spent playing this game we've never encountered anything like this, and as so, felt no need to check the front page before she reactivated. And I can almost guarantee that you've never specifically scoped out the front page for information like this when reactivating your account either.
as I said in your other thread, why you needed another I don't know, My wife activated during the affected times and could come back in 24 hours, the weekend maybe why its taken longer as it maybe a manual process of moving people who re-sub. Although I agree still that there should be those days payed back into your account until the character is re-activated on a server.
When I resubbed around 6 weeks ago, it took almost 3 weeks after I resubbed, before I was able to log on the Lodestone Forums again.
It kinda annoyed me as well...but meh, you are able to read...if you're one of those people who wants to share their thoughts on everything, this might be "not ideal", but other then that you can get all the information just as any other person.
edit: Okay just noticed you didn't mean not being able to log on the forums, but the game itself.
Well okay...that is more than just annoying. If you pay and can't play, this would be a deal breaker for me...so either fight to get your days refunded, or quit for good.

Says the person who isn't going through this problem. Derp, go troll somewhere else.
It's funny because you assume this person wants anything to do with SE after this debacle, personally I wouldn't.
There's no point in debating what a 'few' means to SE. Either way, SE is grossly neglegent when it comes to taking care of their customers.
My boyfriend and I have cancelled our subscriptions and are going to wait a full billing cycle after 2.0 launches to see if 2.0 is even worth having to deal with this pathetic excuse of a company.
EDIT: SE wants to gain our trust, but only through mediocre hotfixes and redundant gimmicks, not through good customer service (even in japanese standards). I've made some friends in FFXIV, they are what makes the game, but they are just internet friends in the end. I'm not going to pay 10 dollars a month to potentially have access (minus a few days) to a glorified instant messenger.

It's too bad you don't see FFXIV as anything more than a glorified instant messenger. Also, it's too bad you are rage quitting for not being able to play for a week. I think this is the price to pay for those who chose to change servers or didn't have an active account pre server swap.Says the person who isn't going through this problem.
