    Ill just add:
    - No Viera/Hroth house servants
    - No freaking hats
    - Miqos with hats now look like hyur with bloated faces because they chopped their damn ears off
    - Wth is that lopporit emote on Viera….
    - I wish bunny boys looked less kpop
    - There is no freaking reason why people need to waste hours to GLITCH furniture, just allow us to merge crap together, eso does it, Sarah Jessica Parker is doing it, why not us?

As for Viera….it’s been two years. Two. I still can’t slap a veil on my head. My patience is running thin.

And if you come to tell me to play some other race I swear………….

This is mostly a design decision than actaully a lack of dev time.

Instead of adding rewards to variant and criterion dungeons they were all dumped into island sanctuary and the relic weapon is just recycled old content which only needs the numbers tweaked.

It’s a good thing not to answer your enemies. I scarcely ever do. Perhaps Emily is more like me than I am like myself. Perhaps she would rather not answer her friends, even. She keeps it all in her heart.

the serotonin fix you get from getting achievements for things you'd do anyway. It feels great seeing it pop up on your screen and being rewarded, even for something really small and unimportant. And seeing those numbers go up feels so good.

It's a WoW player thing. Most FFXIV players really wouldn't understand.

Oh, I wore full blues, I get an achievement, I stand in Bahamut's fire, get an achievement that says don't stand in fire, I emote /hug a player, BAM, another achievement. It's the small things that count that makes doing all kinds of different things in the game rewarding. This is what I loved in WoW, and as a WoW player.

I think its not simply the quantity of content that is the concern, but also the quality. A lot of things have already been talked about on this forum like the recent savage tier, island sanctuary, relic step, etc. etc. What hasn't been talked about as much has been the recent ultimate, which is THE piece of content from the 6.3 patch. Even though very few do it, it does bring a lot of attention to the game. Even Yoshi P stated to those who don't do the content to at least tune into the streams to view it. They understand the importance of it.

However, this implementation was probably the most un-polished by far. Even more unpolished than their first ultimate (UCOB). There were already 2 MAJOR bugs they had to fix which should've easily been caught by simple testing. There is no way they actually tested the fight when groups kept getting a healer/dps sniped by the absurdly quick auto attack from Phase 3. Then there was also the recent bug fixed of the magic vuln snapshotting the tank. Extremely punishing fight breaking bugs in their fifth installment of an ultimate. The icing on the cake for me though isn't even actually a bug XD. Phase 6's setup was quite clearly implemented to force a standard comp (2 tanks, 2 healers, 4 dps). They failed miserably, however, since the phase doesn't actually require 2 healer LBs to be used. I think its awesome that another group was able to complete an ultimate with only one healer, but considering this ultimate was built with the intention to force a double healer double tank comp, it is hilariously sad. It shows no signs of proper testing once again.

The only good thing about the ultimate is that it is considered the most difficult one to date, and its omega themed. Otherwise, it is pretty uninspired and not properly tested. I could go into even more issues with how it is built (using the buff cap, tight nisi passes in a game with horrible tick rate to name a couple), but the point has already been made.

Agreed. A lot of the achievements in the game really only exist for this reason, some of them not even giving you anything other than points. They exist to give you a feeling of accomplishment and a burst of serotonin.

The only achievements I don't like are the ones with inflated numbers. Who is going to be getting 20k accursed hoards, even if they're specifically trying to get it? Unless you no-life deep dungeons and deep dungeons alone, that achievement just isn't a feasible goal.

It also lands into the territory of being too hard/frustrating to be fun. I've been progging it for the last two months and while I'm making progress and I think I can definitely beat it with enough time, it just hasn't been a fun experience. I'd probably quit if I didn't have my current group and if I didn't feel like doing so would be wasting the time spent on it already. The devs said they were aiming for it to be easier than DSR (look how that turned out lol) and I thought it would be a fun experience, but back when it launched if I knew what I know now, I probably would have given TOP a pass. And I'm clearly not the only person who is unhappy with it, Zepla got so burnt out on it, she's taking a break from the game entirely. (there are other reasons for her taking a break, but TOP is the main one)

According to hearsay, apparently the developer who was in charge of adding ears and tail pockets in gear left the team somewhere around Heavensward. I guess they took that sacred knowledge to the grave, since new models (not reskins) just cut their ears off.

I haven't played a Miqo'te since Shadowbringers, so I have no idea if they managed to get around that. But from what I hear, I guess not.

It's amazing the amount of "I heard from a guy who knows a player who knows another player who reads Japanese and found a link saying X (that is not sourced) for this rumour".

Gods, I wish there was a "sarcasm" tag in the forums. English is such an unprecise language when written and not spoken for sarcasm and innuendo.

It was mentioned on Reddit somewhere around 2014-2015. As much as I'd love to provide a source for a harmless comment I made without much importance, I'd rather not scour the internet archives just to prove a point. The fact remains: new headgear has been clipping Miqo'te ears for a while now. The reasons behind that are just speculating and hearsay, as I said.
