With as many content lulls we've survived through since 2.0 - Yes, housing is the game. Especially if you've owned an FC for every lull.

Housing also keeps the markets alive through a lull because everyone's constantly re-designing their houses. So considering we get more lull than not, it is the game at this point. Because it's basically the only MMO content that's actually alive in the MMO.

They can take a month off and then come back. I swear, people act like they lose everything for taking 30 days off. You have 45 days, 45 DAYS. You can log in on the final day of your sub, exit the game in your house, and then take a month off. Come back a month later, repay sub, enter the game and then enter your house, the house is now saved from demolition. By the Twelve, it's not a hard concept to grasp, but people clutch their pearls and act like they're being asked to sacrifice their firstborn child.

No, when I want to take a break, I'd take a break until next patch cycle. What psycho actually manages their sub like that? Also, this doesn't take away from the fact that I'd still need to manage the sub itself for that whole period. You're actually making it more annoying in general by doing that. I'd rather just pay the damn sub and limit my Retainers. I want to NOT have a sub AT ALL for the WHOLE period of the lull.

No, I'm concerned that ya'll obsess over losing your house because you don't want to take a break, and then you make excuses for not even taking a single month off to prevent yourself from losing the house while still taking a break because you'd rather take multiple months off.
