Plus, the post you were quoting was comparing the perceived value between a title and losing a house to the people who do care about their plots. Regardless of whether you believe those things have value or not, no one clutched pearls xD

And... Yeah, yours holds somewhat true if it's just "taking a break", but what if the break happens to be over 45 days? Again, why would we have to pay to keep a house, it's silly. The problem is the system, not the players. Nothing gets taken out if you don't resub for some time, why would this be? Because the system sucks? Then fix it xD
And then you have reasons to be away from the game than just a break. Health, for example.
