Yeah, so as some of you might've seen, I went out of my way doing some espionage, and made that post on the JP forums to find out what they think about the new patch, and where I can find discussion threads about the new patch (since I could barely find any).

So first thing to note is, that the JP community hates opening 50 threads on patch day, like the EN community. Instead they open like 1 thread and everyone posts only there. That's why there's literally just 2 or 3 threads where people talk about the new patch: One about the Manderville Weapons (48 pages - last 5 pages since this patch), one about Eureka Orthos (4 pages) and some talk in the "Add new hairstyle" thread.

I've gone over all 3 so far and after figuring out their super weird metaphors (like comparing doing content to eating and the speed of chewing/swallowing... or traffic jams...wtf), these are the results:

Manderville weapons:
Unlike in the thread that I made, asking where people are discussing the patch, here people seem to be kinda less positive about the weapon. They think it's a bit too easy to get, and that it doesn't feel like they're "training" their weapon like previously, when all you do is just exchanging astronomy tomes to pretty much "buy" it. Also, they're slightly put off by the fact that now Hildi Quest = Relic Weapon quest, instead of Hildi just being a prequisite and its own thing apart from that. Also, quite a lot of people still dislike the fact that you had to do ALL the Hildi quests before you could even start with the Manderville Weapon questline.
There are some who are like "Thank you for logging in once a week and getting weapons", but apparently they're a minority. The majority isn't too fond of there being pretty much nothing to do for the new relic stage. They're not super salty like a lot of English players here, but they're also not really pleased with how the questline is designed.

Eureka Orthos:
Basically there's 3 things people talk about: Not being able to watch the boss cutscene as people just pull, how it's too difficult (especially at lower levels), and how Eureka Orthos is pretty boring

New hairstyle:
This thread was really weird.
There was like 1 guy who was really salty about the new hairstyle looking only good on specific races and genders, which resulted in other people mostly shittalking him for voicing his opinion and then they opened an entire think tank about the philosophical question "when should you say something" (regarding voicing your opinion). Like there were a couple of people literally just writing dozens of lines, just repeating themselves over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again, how "he can say his opinion, but how he shouldn't when it's about a subjective matter".
Like wtf.
But all in all, they're mostly fond of the new Eleven from Stranger Things haircut.
