It's very telling that a lot of them comes from different games or from community contests.
The gear design team really needs new ideas.

One of the things I wish we had, at least, were more skirts separated from the tops. I feel it would make them a bit more versatile.

The ShB Black Mage artifact set on male characters... I love the top, hate the skirt. And the actual leg item that we get to go under those is usually an afterthought, wouldn't be really missed.

Sometimes, some pants look really nice, like DRK lvl 89 job set. But you indeed never really notice unless you go out of your way to check it out individually without the chest part

But it's variety you can't use, because other classes can't equip it.

And as I said, if they make more glamour sets instead – especially if they put it into more fantasy gear and not the modern outfits they're doing all too often for my liking – then you still are getting variety and you can make use of it on more classes at a time.

Your argument has nothing to do with mine and they aren't mutually exclusive. I have no idea why someone wouldn't want more sets per patch.

Because I don't think it would magically give us more sets per patch. If they have to put more effort into building seven unique outfits per gear series instead of three, that wouldn't just be free extra outfits, but would require time and work that has to be diverted from elsewhere. We would get less new gear series and more recolours, or else less glamour sets, and I don't think that would be a worthwhile trade just for the sake of my caster and healer getting different outfits.

Especially a recolor of the caster gear but worse. They add a cool caster armor but then they remove some details from it when they use the same model for healers.

They had a great looking Nun healer gear in Rinsciata. . . but then gave it to DPS Casters

It's the cheapest way so they do that. Especially the circlets and crap on the head

My brother in Hydaelyn, you are not only getting the same tents, but also the same tents from past expansions recolored from now on. Have you noticed how hard the different models for gear have disappeared? It's almost all recolors and has been since 5.0, sad. Even the cash shop unique items are lazy, see Gaia's outfit pieces.

No. they don't.
Look at the Horses and Dragon Mounts in this Game and then check out WoW Horses and Dragons. Then you know who really is talented and creative.
All that these Devs are capable of is doing Re-Skins over and over again. Be it Armor or Mounts. Check all the Ball Mounts in PvP for example.
You can dream about a change, but all hope is lost in my opinion.
