Ungendered sit poses, please?

You do realize people post about this game outside the forum right? People on Twitter/Reddit literally ask for things like this all the time.

I'm sure they're just as insufferable.

Better yet, if you want to do a deep dive, there are forbidden sites that have gender swapped idles/sits/poses. I welcome you to check out the number of downloads and views those have.

Sounds like the problem is already solved then. If the argument is then "I don't want to break the ToS to get what I want", then it seems like a tad hypocritical to selectively choose which of CBU3's design choices to respect. Not that I believe for a second people ONLY have swap one thing.

If the argument is "what about people who play on consoles?", simply put, I have a hard time believing there's a lot of people who play on consoles who are sitting around using a (virtual) keyboard. That's just not what people game on consoles do.

This is an anime game where we are literally allowed to tank bosses in swimsuits and panties, so why not tbh.

edit: as a fun fact, SE is more than well aware of these mods and have started to implement their own versions to decrease mod usage.. You know, like the waymarks, checking to see if you already had a minion/mount/scroll/ect...

Then do it. No one is forcing you to use them. If your inability to use all sitting positions is your biggest problem with the game to the point it prevents you from RPing, then you're not RPing, you're self-inserting.

See... when people use () for words or even letters, that means you don't have to include it in the sentence, like (fe)male or, in my case, (virtual) keyboard. Yes, I am FULLY aware that people can use keyboards on consoles - people used to do that on the PS2. It's called being complete.

No, it's not, not always, because there's absolutely no way to please absolutely everyone, and people do not just stick with one option. How you sit isn't even a customization of your character. It's not like you can change how far your legs spread out, shift the weight on the heels of your feet, change which side of your hip you lean on... it's a pose, where you have absolutely no say in how it looks.

Sure, there's no definite ways to please everyone. But they are still trying to make the game customizable as possible, otherwise we wouldn't have old, undyable sets, retextured High Allagan/Crystal tower sets, older dyable sets that we got recently, and ungendered items. So I fail to see your point here. How you sit/idle/ect IS a way to customize your character believe it or not. Especially when you have choices lmao. Some people prefer to do the crossed arms. Some people prefer hand on hip. You choose an idle/pose based on what fits you yourself, or what you envision your character. That is called customization.

You are not compelled to break the ToS. This is such an obnoxious, childish "I don't take full responsibility for my own decisions/actions" statement. No one forced, pressured or coerced anyone to download a mod to sit differently, ESPECIALLY since literally NOT A SINGLE OTHER PERSON can see it.
