Final Fantasy has always been a series that has it's fair share of whimsical light-heartedness. This shouldn't come as a surprise for anyone who has played Final Fantasy games before. I'm thankful that FFXIV has managed to retain that whimsy, as the solo player titles have become more and more dreadfully serious with none of the charm the games had pre-PS3/360 era.
