Once upon a time, when BLU was leaked and 'Gunblade user' was leaked, I had an idea of a tank that used a suit of Magitek, and 'analysed' enemy attack patterns to counter with simulations created from hardlight projections. Owing to it's heavy use of ceruleum as a power source instead of aether, I referred to it in my mind as Cerulean Knight, referring both to the blue of the ceruleum fuel, and the Blue Magic it was ironically mimicking. It was a Tank, for any avoidance of doubt, and it'd have had Runic as a cooldown, don't worry.

Since then, I've changed to a new pie-in-the-sky idea, this time it's a Scouting class (though it could still be a tank I guess), with a twist. It'd have a 1h beam saber (think Travis from No more Heroes, but without that 'charging animation' lmao) and a laser pistol, but that would not be it's weapon. They wouldn't change in appearance when you got a new upgrade, either. No, this class's weapon is what I'll refer to as an Aethercore, a power source that is embedded in a belt. Now that Belts are no longer an actual 'slot' on the character sheet, I thought, why not let my old Uni days catch up to me, and go all out with a Kamen Rider themed class? It'd play somewhat similar to Reaper, with a burst phase that involves a transformation, but this is where it gets more interesting, I think:

The form you take while you 'Henshin' is dictated by your equipped Aethercore. Your entire 'Rider form' is the weapon!

If you've ever seen Kamen Rider, you know not only the belts look different, the Rider suits themselves are vastly different, with completely different themes. While it might sound kinda 'meh' to only be able to see the difference to your appearance that new Aethercore makes while you're in 'Henshin' phase, please consider how damn cool you're gonna look with a TEA themed suit, or a UCOB one with glowing wings behind you. Dyes would also allow for a lot of expression, several of the Riders have alternate forms correlating to the fighting style that form uses, that come out are essentially the same as the base suit, but with a different color. For example, good ol' Double had two halves (hence the name), and could mix and match the two to create new combinations. Alternatively, going back further, Kuuga has a very simple design, with the color just changing depending what weapon he's using at the time.

Alternatively, instead of a 'Henshin Phase', perhaps the 'Henshin' animation would be the 'unsheathe' animation, and you're constantly suited up while in combat? However, this means you can't see the rest of your gear while in combat, only while AFKing in Limsa, which is it's own issue.

If nothing else, I feel like this might be the closest we can get to 'Use the G-Warrior in more content than just the solo instance it's in' and I love me some big robots so y'know, there it is
