Just gonna repost this from another thread.

    3 Ranged: 2 Support 1 Selfish
    4 Casters: 2 Crit-based 2 SpS-based(One is limited)

There are at least 5 more expansions in XIV’s main story.
They also have a pattern of adding a healer or tank at intervals.
If you think of them pairing a DPS with a Healer or Tank, it would go like this:

(The DPS slots are just examples according to their released order up until now)

    7.0 OT Tank, Scouting
    8.0 Pure Healer, Striking
    9.0 MT Tank, Selfish Ranged
    10.0 Barrier Healer, Maiming
11.0 Scouting, Blue Mage is a normal Job(Assuming it’s the Whalaqee expansion)

    We end up with:

    6 Tanks: 3 MT 3 OT
    6 Healers: 3 Pure 3 Barrier
    9 Melee: 3 Striking 3 Maiming 3 Scouting
    4 Ranged: 2 Support 2 Selfish
    4 Casters: 2 Crit-based 2 SpS-based

Assuming they DON'T make up a new job but instead copy from past FF games, or at least the motifs/name,
and also assuming Limited Jobs take up slots whether they may or may not become real jobs in the future, here are my predictions:

7.0 OT Tank: Judge(uses warhammer) , Scouting: Geomancer(bells, because of player request probably, can use elemental magic but without the mudra)
8.0 Pure Healer: Green Mage(rackets, the new DoT mage but a healer, give them like 8 dots then execute actions like "Fester", no oGCD healing), Striking: Viking(dual axe, relies on fast paced 2-button combos kinda like RDM, but Melee)
9.0 MT Tank: Puppetmaster(uses garlean technology and smashes stuff with giant spanner), Selfish Ranged: Cannoneer(dispenses traps and attacks with cannons, also has an RNG base like Corsair )
10.0 Barrier Healer: Chemist(potion gun, finally? Buff/debuff with potions, a much needed AST-type shield healer) , Maiming: Rune Fencer(dual swords, maiming focuses on charging their resource and go into enhanced phase)
11.0 Scouting: Beastmaster(whips, Pokemon style) , SpS-based Caster: Blue Mage(in its ultimate non-hindered form, give us that Shockwave Pulsar LB3 YoshiP)

Also my Japanese post(with pictures) so you can sort of imagine them:

It's 3 caster in reality, Blue mage doesn't count because he's in a world of it's own.

Let's go for a little check of the rest :

    7.0 :

Judge with a warhammer could happen, warhammer was asked for ages. But the most known Judge is Gabranth and he wear dual sword. So I think Judge can be a thing, but maybe not as a tank.

Geomancer and Scouting, I'm sorry but that is clearly not compatible. Geomancer, as the name induces, is more related to a caster. I highly doubt that you will smash the face of a world destroying entity with some Bell, doesn't really seems effective for me. Also Geomancer, while being mentionned through AST story quest may not be a thing. Square Enix expressed their wish to create unique classes and not some already seen in other FF.

    8.0 :

Green mage as a pure healer ? Dude, Green mage cast barrier and shield. Why would it be a Pure healer ? That makes absolutely no sense at all. Read the green mage description and spells that he has on other FF. It's mainly a support with protection. "Shield" was always green magic.

Description of a green mage :

"As the name suggest, Green Mages specialize in Green Magicks/Magics, which are a school of spells that specialize in buffing allies and debuffing enemies. Spells often associated with Green Mages are Protect, Blind, and the Bar-Spells."

As for the Viking you mentionned, More dual wield class wouldn't be a risk to take, because people want more dual wield class. But Viking, I don't know how they can introduce that at all. Also, this is in term of design is really close to the Warrior how is kinda our Barbarian.

    9.0 :

Puppetmaster as a MT ? I don't even know how you'd be able to protect yourself with this. Not many people will see this as a tank...

Selfish Ranged : Cannoneer ? We already have one. It's called a Machinist and he already got his fair amount of heavy weaponry. Putting a cannoneer into the game will kinda feel redundant.

    10.0 :

Chemist as a Barrier healer. Come on, be serious... What will he use to shield people ? Skin lotion ? Their isn't a single item in the game that create a Shield, that would make no sense. But as a pure healer, creating cloud of healing, yeah that I can definitely see as a class.

Rune Fencer : Another class really asked for. I can't even remember the number of time i've seen people asking for this. If Judge isn't a thing, then Double sword for him may be a good choise.

    11.0 :

Beastmaster : Often people tend to say that it would be a "limited" job. I wonder what kind of kit you can have with this one. Also scouting on this make quite the sense because you need strenght to wield a whip, but you need to be agile.

Blue mage : Will never be a full job, they created it this way, and this isn't gonna change.

Seems like you’re just trying to counter anything that goes against your wishlist, but I’ll take my time to dive in a bit more, since it’s really obvious you didn’t try to understand why I chose these concepts.

Judge: You just want a Gabranth in FF14. People have always requested for a hammer tank, and btw Garlean armor is based on FF12 so in reality, Nero’s design could be the base for Judge. Also, Judge makes me think of a judge’s mallet, so that checks out.

Geomancer: Scouting doesn’t necessarily mean Ninja-like. From my perspective, it’s a job that uses a ton of mid to long range attacks, hence Ranged DPS’s Dexterity stat. Geomancer fits Scouting well because it’s supposed to be able to control the elements(long-ranged), usually in its vicinity(short/mid-ranged), but it doesn’t scream “caster” to me.

Green Mage: It can be interchangeable with Chemist, but it sounds more like a Pure Healer than Chemist to me(I’ll get into Chemist later on). My concept for these two healers is “ more time healing than DPS” as people have requested for more busy/complex healing jobs.

Viking: This is just really based on Red Mage’s dualcast, but it seems the most fitting for a high pace Striking job. Wouldn’t be surprised if this doesn’t make it because a lot of themes are Warrior-like.

Puppetmaster: bruh, they were like one of the best solo-tanks in FF11. Check the link in my post, which you probably didn’t read, for more details.

Cannoneer: It’s a concept that could differentiate a hexagun-user from Machinist. Yeah, MCH has guns and gizmos, but do they have a cannon, do they have RNG? No.

Chemist: Interchangeable with Green Mage as mentioned, but the concept here, which I failed to elaborate, is weak consecutive heals(think gatling gun) for busy healing. Sounds better as Pure than Barrier. Also Stormblood AST-style mixing or mudra system for buffs/debuffs. We already have a Pure Healer with buffs so Chemist would be better as Barrier. How to make shields? Sage never was a barrier healer too. Sage was a stronger WHM in past games, but they were able to create a Barrier Healer out of it.

Rune Fencer: You seem to like this one so less explaining. Spellblade gets requested a lot, but there are already a ton of sword jobs, so to differentiate it, dual blades. DRG and RPR both have a “red phase” and their AoEs are different. DRG is mostly lines, RPR cones, so RUN would probably be circular, like other sword jobs. Also it should be able to cast elemental or rune magic in this phase, but with cast time.

Beastmaster: You also agree with this one, but I will elaborate. I explained that Scouting uses lots of mid to long ranged attacks. In this case, the whip is for short to mid ranged attacks, while pets are equivalent to Ninja and Geomancer’s long ranged elemental attacks. I don’t try to use limited job as a concept in this post because, trust me I tried and people despise the idea. Instead the pet collecting/pokemon can be side content for the job while the main whip abilities are the same as other jobs.

Blue Mage: This doesn’t mean that it becomes a regular job that levels to gain abilities. It means that it’s finally able to use all the expansions’ skills and can be used in other content the same as other jobs. If the main story is really ending in 11.0, this would be a good time to let a broken job access the main content.
