There are people who don't notice or read who's written a thread and just pop into a thread solely based on the title. It's how some necros of threads happen as people have just gone and done a search of some kind about a topic and not see that a thread might be a few years old. Other times you can have a person on ignore and not understand a person's reply to said ignored poster so you then are then in need of unhiding that person's posts.

There was a poster in the past who I had on ignore where trying to follow any of the various people's replies to them didn't make enough sense as to what they were disagreeing with. So I just ended up taking them off ignore. They weren't even the op of the thread even.

I dont hate him, I just disagree with his opinion which he states as fact. And you guys also choose to engage us lol. Most of the time I comment on the topic at hand, you guys derail it first.

You'll note I don't tend to post in threads that make valid objections. I have nothing to add to those. Or things like Male Viera and Female Hroth, which everyone supports.
