Pray tell what is this mysterious other content in question? Because right now there's hardly anything to do in this game besides turning in leves for gil on the off chance things improve. 10 minutes every 2 weeks. Enough for forum access, but little else.

Regardless, there has always been a clear bias against the stuff that Yoshi doesn't personally play. This extends to nearly every facet of the game, with this latest bit being the latest example of that. He wasn't into it, so he let them release an island where all you do is click things. It is not acceptable.

The dude plays a Lalafell and female Raen, you think he would've let either race remain in the state Hrothgar and Viera were in for 2 years until people started going behind his back in order to clean up the state of those two races? Or how about if his favorite class was Blue Mage instead of Black Mage, would it have been reduced to a useless minigame you can't do current content with?

Yeah, I take issue with him clearly not caring about anything that falls outside whatever it is he does in game. The so-called King of Final Fantasy so far has had quite a performance this expansion. A decade worth of goodwill done away with in 10 months.

I always have plenty to do when I log in so that sounds like a you issue. You hit Series Rank 30 yet? If not there you go. You get all your achievements done? There you go right there. You have all classes at full 90 with all BLU spells unlocked? There you go.
But I'm certain you don't. Let call it what it is. There's plenty to do in game, you just don't like/want to do it.

Bias you say...wasn't blm garbo in CC when it dropped, you know his favorite job? Isn't blm in a tough raid spot rn? You know...his favorite class? Raids favoring melees actively makes the class harder in his favorite content so where the bias?
Also where did he say he wasn't into IS? You pulled that outta nowhere to make a point (that has no merit btw). And the crazy part is folks like Stormy defend it when you're off-base. It's like this weird fixation on being negative n matter what.

Would he let those races remain as Viera and Hroth have? NOBODY KNOWS. That's as far as that question should go because that's the fact of the matter. Put your bias aside. Also BLU is a useless minigame? That's news to me. What makes it useless btw? I get plenty of use out of BLU. Hell I'd argue BLU has more freedom with how it's currently designed. Do I want an increase to 80 soon? Yes. I don't need it to do current content though.

You've provided no proof of him only caring about what he enjoys. You've only rambled about nonsense that you simply don't like. 10 years of goodwill "done away with in 10 months"...and you'll still be here complaining in 8.0 about how "bad" the game is.

Meant to also respond that I dont think Aveyond was trying to troll bait with this thread. No, that requires for him to actually think.

I think he genuinely rushes into conclusions without actually taking the time to think about the information presented to him. Yoshida clearly states "has yet to play on his P-E-R-S-O-N-A-L account" but of course Aveyond having such a love to hate relationship with the guy will try to twist words in an attempt to validate his opinions. Its pathetic and sad. And I can already hear him defending himself with the usual "well screw me for caring about the game" shtick. You're not a saint, just like how we dont want to hold the devs above criticism, the same goes to the members of this community.

Hmm what're they suppose to see? That Yoshi P hasn't done Sanctuary on his personal account? The guy working on 2 games atm. Same dude who has a plethora of other duties to attend to? Lmao come on now.

Also I'd be wiling to bet my account that Yoshi isn't just constantly going n doing old msq parts...yet each update were seeing improvements to old segments. The new Steps of Faith is awesome imo. The fact we get duty support n such. Does that not prove you wrong? It's evident Yoshi cares about content he doesn't do. Anyone with eyes should be able to see that.

All I did was point out a few key things to disprove his notion and explain why folks label him they way they do. Care to refute any of them? Or are you here to stir the pot like you've accused others in the past of doing?

No, what I usually call out is the all too common behaviour from certain posters where they will say something inflammatory or accusatory only to throw up their arms and try to paint themselves as the victim or that they intended to have a civil discussion when there's any pushback whatsoever in response to their - often utterly bizarre - claims.

In your previous post you peddled a conspiracy theory about some 'Aveyond defence force' when there is no such thing in play.

Lauront dismantled that claim in one of his recent posts, no less.

I'm really not sure what you're getting at. My own stance is the same as Lauront's own in that I agree with Aveyond at times, I disagree with him on other issues. I'm not here to police what he says or does or keep track of what he says across different threads.

Nor do I feel particularly inclined to be at your beck and call or specific whims whenever you want your points refuted. I'm happy to agree to disagree with you and leave it at that.
