The interesting thing about the Aveyond fan club is that the normal response to not liking someone's posts or someone's persona on a public internet forum would be to block them, but they can't bring themselves to do that. They purposefully keep him unblocked because they have to see what he's writing, and they have to be ready at a moment's notice to shoot down what he's saying. It's almost like an obsession. This guy lives in their heads rent free.

As mentioned several times, blocking doesn't hide created threads for some reason, so we are stuck with seeing them anyway.

Plus, it's rather entertaining reading his completely off the walls takes. It's like reading bad take Twitter threads on politics actually.

If I'm gonna see them anyway, may as well have some fun replying. Don't you enjoy watching people with crazy conspiracy theories? Seeing how their brains work sometimes is entertaining too.

Work can be slow at times. Not like he responds to anyone who disagrees with him anyway. Can't even criticise him or he hides behind "internet bullying".


Also, it's always funny that the same group complaining about aveyond haters comes in to defend him every time. Except that one thread you guys couldn't even defend it was so bad lol. Your absence was incredibly telling.

I think you're being rather disingenuous and are simply attempting to bundle everyone who happens to agree with Aveyond on some issues as being part of one big hive mind when that simply isn't true. Naturally those of us invested in the story and the idea of character customisation upgrades are going to pop into threads related to those very same issues...

But all it shows is the thread title until you actually click a button to divulge the post's contents. So really, other than displaying the title, how is it materially different?

And that is what we call a reach. The only thread of his I commented much on was his story rewrite one. Beyond that, we agree on a few points and I will occasionally pop into his threads. I am not sure why, in your mind, that constitutes some commitment on my part to show up to each and every thread he makes or agree with all his points.
