That Which He Pays But Does Not Enjoy
He's spoken up many times about the aspects of the game he finds appealing, some just choose to ignore that and concern troll over clashing personality types and cultural differences.
Furthermore, some of us have seen WoW go through this exact same song and dance. Thus we weigh in with feedback - given that this forum is first and foremost a place to leave it.
No game is perfect. There will always be room for improvement, and it's up to players to let the developers know what they want, what they like, and what they don't like. Positive change is unlikely to happen if people stay silent about their grievances. While it's true no game will cater to every want of an individual (nor should a game developer attempt to), some things can be improved upon by hearing negative feedback from the community. There is no shame in putting these things to voice, as one never knows when enough other voices will join to turn one lone cry into a roaring chorus. Sometimes one doesn't even need many voices. Meaningful change can also be brought about by an individual's words, although it's far rarer.
Offering criticism nearly always means someone cares about the person, place, or thing whose flaws are being discussed. They would say nothing at all if they did not.

Those who don't farm Blue Cowrie on Island Sanctuary really missed the chance to sell the dyes and materias. It's literally free money and way better than getting the dyes from Firmament.

Can't say I blame him, I haven't touched Island Sanctuary either, never plan to.

If you’ve been following along the dev team in general doesn’t touch endgame/hard raid content like savage either. They had a comment way back talking about how hard it was to balance because the skill of the test team of devs just isn’t that good compared to hardcore players. They are regularly surprised at how fast the player base figures out and clears content.
..Should we also cut all savage/ex?
In fact, I seem to remember waaay back where there simply wasn’t hard raid content, or even relics. The devs added them because there was demand for it by the player base to have something to do beyond just MSQ.
Island Sanctuary is just another “thing to do” to try to appeal to other players not interested in more of the same endgame activities. Doesn’t make it amazing, but I would say I’ve spent more time doing it than I have in all savage content in my entire play history. (That is to say, none). And I’ve only ever done Excalibur as a relic during shadowbringers…. So mission success if they were trying to find a way for me to burn playtime.

Even when I enjoyed the game more than I do at present I never consistently logged in on a daily basis. I'd say the same of my friends - and more often than not, a large part of it was due to having to 'stagger' content purposefully due to a lack of things to do when one is all caught up with the latest batch of MSQ's.
