relax, they are sparing no expense on this expansion. Check out these items, pure qualityWorry not, it'll get worse, and worse, and worse again. That's the life of a live service game, just like a wolf in sheep's clothing. I personally blame the zoomer paypigs, but every company that travels that path (meaning every fucking one of them) shares part of it. It's even more amusing when you remember Square Enix is full of incompetent people and all the money they get is thrown at some garbage project they just came up with, possibly (probably) causing a ridiculous loss of money.![]()
Generally speaking I don't really care about the store in regards to criticism for this game. We lost that battle well before XIV. I've always felt the store was pretty pricey, but I also understand Yoshi said back when they implemented it, so long as they keep it separate and don't dictate what to do with his game then it's fine. It helps bolster the numbers for the game, and honestly people eat it up despite the pricing.
However, even with the added items in the set, 22$ is too much. Unless the outfit is getting double, the price for an outfit (imo) should never exceed 20$, and even then that's way too much. On average I think a reasonable amount is 10-12$.
Just some feedback on this, it is too expensive. The added options for pants / shorts is nice. Separating the hoodie from the coat was questionable, but it was a good attempt to give players more glamour options. I would probably buy it on sale, but overall it is definitely expensive.
PLEASE USE THESE FUNDS TO REINVEST INTO XIV; such as to finish Viera / Hrothgar helmets and hire more people to give better detail to gear (Miqote / Viera / Hroth / Elezen / Lalafell ears on helmets, tail splits for coats or holes in general for armor). Please please consider using some of these funds to purchase already completed mods to implement into the game - it would save SO much money / time and I'm positive the modder would be happy to be apart of the team and have a job.
SE, if you're going to charge us this much, we should see some serious improvements in the game - more housing wards with instance housing, mods being purchase / implemented, more dungeons, more armor, more everything please. We're kinda paying for it >.>;
[EDIT] In regards to purchasing mods; I don't mean they should buy the mod and then resell it to us - I mean they should fix viera / hroth's hats using a mod that has already fixed it and put that file into the game in a official capacity. Like the picture above, which I'm assuming is a mod.
[EDIT2] I'm assuming these are mods and not just photoshop... these are mods right? Lol

mods being purchased? Im sorry are we talking about god awful creation club in my final fantasy? No thanks.Generally speaking I don't really care about the store in regards to criticism for this game. We lost that battle well before XIV. An MMO is designed around gear and looking your best. It's dishonest to say just because it doesn't affect gameplay it has no effect on certain people. That's absurd. If looking your best (whatever that may mean for the individual) wouldn't be a thing we wouldn't get new gear sets every m patch, let alone a glamour system.nothing.. absolutely nothing... in the store is required to play the game. at all.
puts anything on there more in the realm of a luxury item. its like complaining that Aston Martins are too expensive!!!! they are, but you hardly need one to drive.
if its too expensive, save your money, dont buy it. the price of everything is going up.. why would the online store be any different?
Specifically, they should purchase mods that have adjusted hairstyles and hats / helms on viera / hroth that I've seen screenshots of and adjust them to the game's standard. 100% of the work is already done.
The wording was bad, sorry for that. I'm saying SE should purchase mods from the modder and put them in game to save on manpower since that seem to be the excuse that Yoshi gives - it's not a money problem it's a manpower problem. I don't mean they should buy the mod and then resell it to us - I mean they should fix viera / hroth's hats using the mod in a official capacity.
[EDIT] I'm assuming those are mods. Sorry, they could be photoshopped, in which case everything I said about that is worthless.

I'll never understand why people look a SE like they ONLY put out garbage. Focus on Avengers and sure I could understand but then look at games like 7R and then that's not the case.Worry not, it'll get worse, and worse, and worse again. Though ofc that game is also garbage to many here to idk. It's all weird in the beard. I wouldn't be giving my money to company that's apparently full of incompetent people
Also to the person above me they're not about to buy mods when mods are against ToS...

Square Enix is a very poor company. They need to put food on the table, and it's not fair that we only pay $13 a month when that doesn't even cover one person's lunch in downtown Tokyo. In fact, the fat cat set was cheaper than my Uber Eats meal. I consider it a charitable donation to such a talented company that has given us this game for such a low price. Let's be honest, if we could pay an extra amount in sub money for maybe a donation badge or perhaps a special title, wouldn't we all do it? Now imagine that title or badge but inside of your heart. Giving to the less fortunate makes us all feel good inside.![]()
Ah I getcha then. Yeah they're not going to buy mods when they're not supposed to be allowed. They'll just do what they've been doing and implement things from addons if they catch wind of them and if its top of their priority.Specifically, they should purchase mods that have adjusted hairstyles and hats / helms on viera / hroth that I've seen screenshots of and adjust them to the game's standard. 100% of the work is already done.
