The Amaro mount is $425

and the thing[Amaro] isn't accountwide at minimum.[semi-jk]

If $22 is breaking the bank for people, they should drop playing video games and go get a second, or third job.
People complaining about prices when the real issue stems from people not wanting to work IRL to pay for them. (Yes, some people cant work, that's understandable)
just put away $5/week to buy mogstation stuff, by the time something else releases you will have $50-$100 sitting there to throw at whatever you want.
this is such a discussing comment i don't even know where to start. good for you that you have no life out side of ff14. most people have.If $22 is breaking the bank for people, they should drop playing video games and go get a second, or third job.

you are the one that clearly do not. what SE sat here is that this glam and all the mounts are worth more that any patch they did. more that 6.20/6.21/6.25 so on. you find it so?

I mean, their comment could be seen as gruff, but they're not wrong. If you don't want to spend the money for a glam, fine. If you really want it and it's going to mean not eating or taking care of actual real life needs, then you should be focused on other things. This is a game; no part of this game is a "need". Otherwise it's really not an issue to just put aside a little money every month.
I will agree the price of Mogstation stuff is too expensive for my tastes, you know that the story and general content was what we paid for already when we bought the expansion? And that SE doesn't charge for actual content in the game (Manderville story, Island Sanctuary, Bozja, Eureka, Deep Dungeon, etc etc etc)?
The mogstation t is 100% extracurricular fluff that the devs put time into in an effort to generate extra money to do side content. The last wave of housing servers were paid entirely by Mogstation purchases.

You knew exactly what I meant; they don’t charge separately for content, it’s all included in the base package (fee for expac + monthly).
You are just arguing for arguments sake at this point.
We already know by SE's own admission that the monthly fee goes to server costs and then other departments in SE itself. Our monthly fee is paying for FF16. The mogstation gets sent back into FF14 itself.

Reality is, many do work, and are willing to pay..,
a nice chunk do pay.
but most are always conscientious of worth vs cost.
and whatever that subjectively means to them.
apparently enough for it to always be a topic somewhere all over the Entertainment platform.
So no, it isn't that they can't put aside.
it's that they demand no less.
[personally, as I've said before. if it's worth it. I'd own a large chunk of their catalog. has not proven worth it. so I'll just bear with. also I have multiple retainers. so dropping money isn't an issue. but the shop doesn't match what I expect.]
