Nero in our Team, would be great. He says what he thinks, he is curious, he can fight, he even helped us a few times and so we helped him.

Someone call the Forum Police! Because I wrote passive aggressively that DT looks not good. Oh how right I was!

It's a pity that not much has been done with his character recently but yes, him in the party would be a breath of fresh air compared to the scions who are all ideologically on the same page.

[ Citation needed]despite even Endwalker's most devoted fans being tired of the Scions.
We could use more racial diversity in the main party as well.![]()

I'd like for them to come up with a new Hrothgar and a new Viera to either join the Scions or something equivalent as the next Trusts.
The Scions seriously lack in playable race variety.
Huh? It's a fair point. I happen to really like characters with white hair but the bulk of the main cast subscribe to that aesthetic and there's many JRPG's out there with far more interesting and varied character designs. Jullus, for example, would be a good addition to the cast by virtue of not only being a Garlean but having blue hair. We could also add in a good looking Raen or Xaela male to give the cast a little more testosterone.
I just wish they offed Thancred in Ultima Thule. Thats the part of Endwalker I think about the most. IIRC the azem stone cheese had a time limit, so since he was the first to vanish it could be too late for him. It would add so much emotional impact to the story for me, to the point I'd see it in a much more positive light.
Honestly his character has no business on the story anymore, at this point he just exists.
I wanted him to end his Shadowbringers arc with his death. It would have been great tbh. Maybe the logistics of killing someone when their real body is somewhere else were too bothersome. Or maybe fan worship was too advanced at that point to pull the trigger on him.
The fact that nobody with a brain believed the scions could die was why Ultima Thule fell flat on its face for me.
The problem is it's basically a single player game's death fakeouts in an MMO, which doesn't hit as hard. Especially when we had been given not that far back in the story a powered up crystal allowing us to basically summon from anywhere. It was too obvious. There was no way they could have done the sacrifices hitting hard, especially with a silent protagonist.I wanted him to end his Shadowbringers arc with his death. It would have been great tbh. Yeah... they could at least not have Y'Shtola remind us about the stone...The problem is it's basically a single player game's death fakeouts in an MMO, which doesn't hit as hard. That was... a bit insulting to the player's intelligence...

It's true his arc is concluded since leaving the First. But I don't think his death would have made that much of an impact. Instead he should be Riol'd to the sidelines instead of part of the main Trust party from here on.I just wish they offed Thancred in Ultima Thule. Thats the part of Endwalker I think about the most. Can't be a complicated request to take him out of the main cast. After all he was a quintessential 1.0 character and Yoshida's team are evidently spiteful towards all things 1.0.
