Well, at least they're going in the right direction again and restored our ears. Now please make mogstation hats work on V/H please. That should be something that should always work

Id almost rather them work on making hats work instead of getting new hairs. The runar style is fine I haaaaate 98% of a gearslot not working especially if its gear I pay extra for.
But if we do get new hair in 6.2 then my top pocks would be 3 generic universal styles and 3 MA
- Artoriels style
- The "Jesus" Style
- The style shenpais oc uses
- Styled For Hire
- Rainmaker
- and ofc Windcaller windcaller should always have worked because its only obtainable in bozja and bozja is the hrothgar homeland (well one of them but despite going to Ilsabard in ew we see exactly 1 hrothgar in either thavnair or garlemald

some Gears just look incomplete without the hat. There is nothing that takes away the feeling that something there is not right. An example is PvP gear.

Yeah if nothing else it would be great to have the iconic hats working like BLM, WAR, RDM, AST, and BRD. Dungeon gear less so if I have to pick, but not being able to wear the iconic headgear for jobs is pretty bad when the sets are designed around it

What I've heard is that Viera unique hairstyles have no "Hat-versions", like when your hair suddenly loses a few elements to accomodate a hat.

If they get to fix that (and if that's really one of the big issues), then it would open to way more than just a few iconic hats.

Other than that there's also the clipping that may happen with some vertical hats, since Viera ears are so centered on top of the head. How to fix this? I don't know, I'm not a scientist... but maybe, since the ears are rigged, they could tilt the shapes a bit sideways?

This mod accommodates all types of ears, on different helmets (and the author is looking to make all helmets work), even having already made helmets that I thought were impossible, like Amon's hat or top hats. All this without clipping anything, and even making models of ear pockets for helmets that would look weird just having a furry ear on top. You can find a lot of screenshots of this mod in Twitter.

But we know that may never happen, so they have to sit their asses in the chair and work. The excuse that it is impossible is no longer valid, from the moment that mods started to appear.

The tophat's design sits exactly where the ears are, and making holes, or just letting the ears clip through it would make it really weird, because the hat is already tall, but not too tall to have the ears hidden inside. It's funny because it's an item that does not change anybody's hair when worn due to its size, thus it already clips with many hairstyles, some horribly.
