I was cringing so hard when I saw hrothgars with new hairstyles. And in regards to viera, I am having too much fun with hats on my miqote to be swayed with a couple of hairstyles.

I must say that im deeply disappointed with the development team in charge of the hrothgars, I really expected much better from you but I guess this is what happens when you trust the development team that much.
It's embarrassing how a development team like yours get to that point.. I know it's not easy to take care of many things at the same time but please ...you could have done this much better also rare and few are the hats that work with the hrothgar and now that we were excited about new hairstyles you surprise us with this joke.. no one is happy with these new hairstyles but the worst of it was all about cutting off the ears , the miqo'te also have ears and they do not have any problems with haircuts or hats , so please do something about it, give love to Hrothgars alike and don't do things by halves.

Ears DO NOT hide under the hair... these new hairstyles aren't good. I appreciate that clipping might have been the issue, but clipping is NEEDED to make these styles look right. If it can be done for Viera, it can be done for Hrothgar.

If this was an April Fools joke, then fair enough. But if this was the genuine end look....it needs to be reworked I'm sorry.

(Also Fantasia-ing just to change hairstyles isn't great.)

I hope that at least the development teams sees how everyone's reacting to this and they'll add their ears, even if they clip through the hair.

We also don't know (or I didn't fully grasp it) if we still need to use a Phial of Fantasia to change between hairs or not. I know that you need to do that now because "faces are tied to hairs" but... are now still tied? Or will they be separated from now on?

Given that we can't use non-default hair styles in the character creator, that would seem to be a hint that Hrothgar can finally change hair in-game.

Mind you, that still doesn't make this right. I mean, the bar for Hrothgar treatment was so low it was almost a tripping hazard in Hell, and they still found a way to make it look worse.

I feel like the lack of ears looks so bad that they wouldn't be doing it if they didn't have to for some reason.

Are the ears constructed as part of the hairstyles? Would having them visible mean their ears change shape when you change their hair?

It's my best guess at why they might be forced to do it that way rather than looking right.

The phrase "be careful what you wish for" does come to mind. It kind of shows that they weren't ever built to properly fit human hairstyles.

I would have been happy if they just unlocked all current hairstyles, but on every face. You can already do this with mods.

I really hope they add back the ears, if not its unusable for me hehe

I really came on to the official forums to say something about the hrothgar hair reveal. Honestly the removal of the ears just to smack these less than stellar hairs onto them feels so poorly done that it's borderline insulting. I played hrothgar for almost a year and got tired of the limitations and even I feel like this is a slap in the face.
