I still don't understand why they've clung so tightly to just adding identical wards and not doing anything bigger than that. The housing system as a whole, and all of the decisions I've seen made for it since I started playing ~7 years ago, are just utterly baffling to me.

Like, first they put FCs and individuals in the same system. Bad choice in a game like this, imo, but there it is. Then they add auto demo, but shut it off so often (albeit for totally understandable reasons) that it seems like it's off more than on. Then they insist on only ever adding the exact same copy paste template for house layouts, even in both new zones which could've been great opportunities to, I don't know, try wards with different numbers and sizes of houses??? They limit apartments so much they still lack all the actual game features housing offers, which imo again there shouldn't be ANY game features exclusive to housing other than decorating a house and picking the music, and they slap bandaid after bandaid on the BUYING process all while doing little to nothing to stop people from buying up whole wards on their alts and fake FCs and still not doing anything more than ++++more wards every few years to address the supply issue.

And it's double weird because there's two ways they could've gone, right, they could've just said housing is limited tough luck heck off. Like, Aion also has ward housing, and back when I still played it seriously (like 5 years ago lmao) it had weekly fees and way less houses (also gives a free apartment to every player) but it stuck that way for years. But here they keep adding wards?? So clearly they recognize the demand and apparently agreed housing was too limited, but either can't or won't do anything to make it not limited at all.

Idk. Just feels like they tried to do both too much and not enough with the system. The whole thing is contradictory with itself.
