I know it's just a moogle tome event, but every time I see an event, a new raid, or entirely new gear released, and some of the gear and rewards are unusable by Viera, I start to think that the talk of making everything compatible going forward was a lie.

come come I'm sure the roxas hairstyle will be usable by viera in 6.2!
I just wish they made the neoishgardian caps usable it would sure be nice to get a "new headgear for hrothgar and viera" update every patch like they bothered saying what new gear is available to both sexes and what the new craftable map glam is.
As for hrothgar, Id settle just getting rainmaker with eaaaaaars in 6.2 since it was the best option viera got in 6.1.
But god only knows unless some loving, magnanimous se employee leaks new hair but that happenin.

I don't generally use hats, so I get by. Also funny, since most of the headgear I use is usable by viera, so no headgear doesn't really directly affect me. Yes, it is! I've always thought that viera should have gotten some iconic job pieces, like the RDM hats!

Yep, there is a lot of stuff to do for sure, your first run through. You should take your time and enjoy it! I'll be here afk wherever. It is! But people don't like it when I start spamming them paragraphs about my thought process or opinions on glamours! I have a tendency to start spamming chats, some of my discord friends can probably attest to this.. I love making glamours though. Just this morning I was thinking of more pieces this game NEEDS. Glamour and customizing my character is probably the main reason I play the game, and I will spend literal hours in an inn room going back and forth with pieces or hair... Uh, I will cut the glamour talk short here.

They need to STOP cutting corners in quality, in my opinion. That's where a lot of these issues arise. If they were making custom hairs, you'd think it would fit relatively well for viera... and hrothgar too.. Viera in particular NEEDS more actual viera hair. There's still a lot of viera hairs from past games even that they could do that would look great!

My controversial opinion is that all iconic hats and headgear should be available to all races. I saw they accomplished it with reaper, so I'm certain they could try their hand at the older iconic headgear.

Lol! Have you made an album of glamour screenshots? There are so many cute items on the online store; I have to hide my credit card to resist the urge to buy things I don't need. They would make some cute glamours, though.

I don't think it's controversial at all, because Yoshida did say in an initial statement that they would make more headgear available over time.. Iconic headgear AT LEAST should be a given, like come on! These are signature sets, and the hats for them, like for RDM, BLM, etc.. are a huge part of the look! So I will keep pushing for iconic headpieces AT LEAST. I'd also like event headgear to actually be made available..

I should make an album, but I think I'd have to retake all my shots. I think a lot of what I have done is pretty poorly shot. I am still practicing with gpose. I should probably compile them somewhere though. If you are curious most of my stuff, that I chose to show, is in the show your* viera thread, miqo'te threads, or au ra thread. I usually only post in them to post my glamours, or compliment people.

It definitely is concerning. I personally started noticing it the most with ShB, but it's probably been happening for awhile. I hadn't really experienced as much of the game prior to that. I started playing this game in HW, but had some RL issues throughout it and Stormblood that kept me from playing for long periods quite often. Like several months at a time, these weren't voluntary breaks. Well, I did play a decent amount of Stormblood, but I was still settling in at the time.

Right? I'll keep my fingers crossed! Also, I know a good chunk of people dislike the Heavensturn helms, but I actually find them cute. I have a soft spot for kitschy stuff. Saw a Roe the other day wearing one, and it made me green with envy. I should have complimented him. :')

I'll check out your screenshots in those threads, then. I forgot to say: I love your Viera presets! I never noticed until now the subtle differences between Rava and Veena, besides their skin colors. I might try my hand at making a Veena, just for fun.

I'll keep that in mind once I reach ShB. I'm almost there, kinda! I'm glad to hear (or at least assume) that things are better in RL for you. Here's to hoping that 6.2 and beyond give us a pleasant surprise.

I would love to be able to equip hats. That they make it so Vieras can't equip reward hats from achievements make me so mad. It is literally nothing. And I also can't understand people who says that i should just use the mod to get wear hats but that is not a solution. I've waited along side you and i am getting more and more disappointed by every update where they say nothing about Viera or Hrothgar. Not even and explanation of why they can't or why it's taking so long. They are normally so clear about things like that but it's like they are just ignoring Viera and Hrothgars. Especially Hrothgars.

Yeah, there's not much of a difference, but there is a difference between the two clans for sure. I like both, but it really depends on my mood for a preset. I'd assume the differences are the same for male viera, but I haven't made any presets for them since the benchmark came out.

You'll probably enjoy ShB. It's still a good, contained, story. My issues are with other things, you would kind of have to have been there.. waiting.. two and a half years.. for hairs you thought you were "of course" going to get.. Three for hrothgar, and you know how that ended..

And yeah I love WHM glams as well ! It’s a shame I don’t play healers more often, we can really dress them well.

I like my Hyur as well so I’m ok… for now lol

But yes, like everyone here, seeing new rewards or outfits partially unavailable to Vieras and Hrothgars drives me quite mad. Not mentioning the achievements rewards : most aren’t to my taste but damn, I earned them.

Short list :
- let us access same rewards as everyone
- give us the most iconic pieces
- so, please code the damn hair for fitting hats
It would be a great start, honestly.

I'm waiting for the day when they start not giving out hats and hair as rewards, just so they don't have to listen to complaints about Hrothgars and Vieras.

Why do I say this? For it is a fact that this expansion sinned a lot in the matter of details. They said they would spare no expense, but apparently that's what they're doing most of the time.

I've been playing since the SB, and I noticed a drop in the quality of the game in the SHB. Initially I thought it was the whole COVID thing, but frankly, how long is this going to last? It's been 2 years since this has been said, and as a biologist, I dare say that COVID will never really go away, it's a virus, and they are extremely changeable. That said, will the quality be bad forever?

Remember when au'ra was released, and even with the horns, the scales, nothing was an excuse they couldn't use something? Remember when all races had a child model? Look at the new races, it's just excuse after excuse.

Even with 1.0 falling apart, they made the game practically from scratch, included male miqo'te and female roe, and until the HW the helmets had ear pockets for elezen, miqo'te and lalafell. These days they just pretend the ears don't exist, making the miqo'te look weird even in the new mogstation outfit, and say there's no time, it's impossible, and bla bla bla.
