I don't think it's controversial at all, because Yoshida did say in an initial statement that they would make more headgear available overtime.. Iconic headgear AT LEAST should be a given, like come on! These are signature sets, and the hats for them, like for RDM, BLM, etc.. are a huge part of the look! So I will keep pushing for iconic headpieces AT LEAST. I'd also like event headgear to actually be made available..

I should make an album, but I think I'd have to retake all my shots. I think a lot of what I have done is pretty poorly shot. I am still practicing with gpose. I should probably compile them somewhere though. If you are curious most of my stuff is in the viera thread, miqo'te threads, or au ra thread. I usually only post in them to post my glamours, or compliment people.

It definitely is concerning, I personally started noticing it the most with ShB, but it's probably been happening for awhile. I hadn't really experienced as much of the game prior to that, I started playing this game in HW, but had some RL issues throughout it and Stormblood that kept me from playing for long periods quite often.

Right? I'll keep my fingers crossed! Also, I know a good chunk of people dislike the Heavensturn helms, but I actually find them cute. I have a soft spot for kitschy stuff. Saw a Roe the other day wearing one, and it made me green with envy. I should have complimented him. :')

I'll check out your screenshots in those threads, then. I forgot to say: I love your Viera presets! I never noticed until now the subtle differences between Rava and Veena, besides their skin colors. I might try my hand at making a Veena, just for fun.

I'll keep that in mind once I reach ShB. I'm almost there, kinda! I'm glad to hear (or at least assume) that things are better in RL for you. Here's to hoping that 6.2 and beyond give us a pleasant surprise.

Yeah, there's not much of a difference, but there is a difference between the two clans for sure. I like both, but it really depends on my mood for a preset. I'd assume the differences are the same for male viera, but I haven't made any presets for them since the benchmark came out.

You'll probably enjoy ShB. It's still a good, contained, story. My issues are with other things, you would kind of have to have been there.. waiting.. two and a half years.. for hairs you thought you were "of course" going to get.. Three for hrothgar, and you know how that ended..

I agree. It's a no brainer that they would make more money if they made purchaseable hats compatible for all races. Also, if an event item is a piece of headgear, it shouldn't be too much trouble to have it work for everyone. But, I guess the time, effort, and use of resources isn't worth it to them...

I'm seeing more Viera players in Excalibur as of late, so hopefully the surge in their popularity will be noticed by the devs. I don't know how V/H representation looks in the Japanese servers, though.

I'm questioning exactly how much time and effort it would take for them to make it compatible. We are talking about the OCCASIONAL event piece, or iconic hat even. Like, seriously SE?

Yeah, not only on Excalibur, but primal in general I have seen a decent amount of vieras, and that's part of the reason I switched back to one! I bought the new jacket, and it just looked so good on vieras.. I can be kind of impulsive, and people in here really got me sad enough.. I just wanted to be one again! Regardless, I think viera - both male and female - are quite popular, and I've heard that male viera are very popular in Japan. They have to have data showing quite well that viera are popular, but that could be both a blessing and a curse, because they might take that as players being content. If they weren't so limited, they'd be more popular.
