If there are 4 sets of mobs before each boss, split between 1 wall and it takes 2 minutes for DF players to aoe each of them down, then it would take 4 minutes before each boss with big pulls and 8 minutes before each boss with small pulls. Multiply that by 3 and you get 12 minutes and 24 minutes respectively. It stands to reason that if you spend twice as long killing mobs then the dungeon run is almost twice as long too.

My runs used to be 30-40 minutes and became 16 minutes when I started pulling more. When I did a dungeon a while ago that normally takes me 16 minutes as a tank, it took twice as long because we got a tank that was doing small pulls and it wasted enough time that we didn't do the second roulette that was planned.

Ive seen parties wipe when they pull big..so no, wrong.
Just because they wipe when they pull big doesn't mean that people complain. I don't personally wipe, so I can only speak from the perspective of a tank that doesn't pull more than he can handle. In ARR dungeons such as Snowcloak it's long been common for tanks to go and pull 4 packs instead of 2 and then die, but that has more to do with their judgement rather than the fact they did big pulls.

This question is unnecessary because it will show them as viewing a cutscene and usually they will have sprout or returner status as well. Then the game will go further and say that someone in the duty is new.
