To Tanks Who only pull One Mob at a Time......

May I ask why? The dungeons are not exactly hard, and are designed, post HW, to be doable by pulling 2 groups of mobs at a time. There's no reason a healer should be struggling to keep you alive, and you have your mitigations to help stay alive.

I'd also like to know why you always ignore me and others who ask you to pull more. I always politely suggest you pull more than one mob, but never once has such a tank ever responded and just keeps pulling one mob at a time. It's not just a few instances, it's EVERY instance of a tank who only pulls one mob. You guys never respond and just keep one-mob pulling.

There is absolutely zero reason to pull one group at a time. It's extremely boring, takes away what slight challenge I may have had as the healer (forcing me to just dps basically because one mob isn't enough to really require healing generally), it's slow, makes the dungeon take twice as long. Why do you insist on tanking this way?

It is NOT a Meta nor mandatory for every tank to follow certain routines; given they’re still keeping foes at bay.

Some tanks are still on the learning curve, some just wish to follow the safer approach.

While it is encouraged to pull multiple mobs at once (provided their tanking comfort level) it is not a norm & therefore not that much of a bothersome.

I believe you’re announcing for every tank to rush in as it pleases you.

Can’t accomodate external factors at your expense.

Because tanks will get blamed for a wipe if they pull big, even if they are doing everything right and the problem is a combination of other factors.

It's been stated tanks don't really have more responsibility than other roles in this game, and that may be true at the highest level where everybody is good at their job, but in normal dungeons, tanks do have more responsibility, and will be the first one blamed for a screw up. If they pull big and party wipes? Tank fault. If they pull small and party is bored? Tank fault.

That said, tanks should pull big anyway because it's more fun and no one should give a fuck who gets mad about it.

It kind of is a meta of sorts. At the very least pulling big is a community standard. I'll never push a tank to do more than they are comfortable with, but if a tank is pulling one group at a time...they will probably get an eyeroll or two from me irl. For the sake of keeping the peace, however, I always suck it up and deal with it and stay quiet. It is best for tanks to take it slow if they are still learning. If this is how they handle things after that though...well, that will be a lesson they will have to learn on their own.
