If you don't like the questline, you can spend 2-3 hours of your life, get it done, and never worry about it again. And you have until like October to do it. So my question here is, why are you complaining and not doing it when it takes such little time? Why aren't you just getting it over with? Outside of today's maintenance, I mean.
My issue with this decision is the lack of world building. I work for a living so I know it's pretty sweet to reuse things to make an existing job easier but it does feel a bit cheap that instead of new lore or a questline that fleshes out the world we get told, "Do this existing questline if you want a relic". I thought they were making a relic quest line, not a prerequisite to pad out time like they were making another beast tribe quest. Why fight it at this point, I just wish the devs would do something so erroneous that it will finally chase me off, lol.
