How is it a strawman rofl?
I never told someone what they should feel please drop the victim mentality for once.

I obviously don't literally believe that the person I was responding to doesn't like comedy.
Most comedy tho does revolve around stupidity one way or the other, most comedy comes from pointing out dumb things or silly things.
I was jokingly making a comment about that in jest.
The Hildibrand comedy is just more overt and slapsticky about it.
It's fine to not like it I never said that it wasn't, then again people think that Yoshi-P making a joke about the glam system is him mocking the playerbase out of spite...
It can't be helped if people want to victimize themselves about everything I guess, but I don't believe everyone should have to walk on egg shells all the time because there's people who look for every excuse to be a victim.

It's fair enough that maybe the person I responded to might not HATE the storyline, but that would be the implication based on the question they responded to and without prefacing that they don't actually hate it '' but ''.
If I am referencing what someone else said that another person responded to then I am typically including that previous comment too even if I don't always quote both.
And I often speak in generalities too, there is a trend in this thread that people think that Hildibrand is too comedic for the relic weapon storyline and especially that they're upset because they don't like the comedy.
Lunartears and Imora both made two comments about this and I chose to respond to Imora, it's nothing personal.

I dunno what the point of asking Lunartears about it either would be because Lunartears never said that they hate it, they were asking why others do and Imora responded and I chose to use that as an example to respond to.
You really love to throw labels and terms out to overdramatize everything constantly out of fairly harmless conversations.
It's not pedantry when people are very heated and upset about harmless things or because they don't like this particular style of relic weapon questline.
There is a very obvious and clear difference between someone who is being indifferent or simply don't like something and someone that HATES it, '' hate '' is a very strong emotion and I think it loads it in a very different way and you can clearly see that both in this thread as well as others and how it affects and derails discussions.

Because they inserted the word 'hate', which seems to rub you the wrong way, into their question? Obviously someone who simply dislikes it and who is less pedantic than you are is not going to reframe the question, and will simply answer it. So why frame the question that way in the first place? Should that not be the starting point? Moreover, why take an example of a person offering a fairly calm explanation of why as a good example to base your entire point on in the first place?

Take a good, hard look in the mirror.
