    I dont think its bitterness it just that some players what something more interesting than just the same old same old dont get me wrong thats great that we got it but how long will it last? you know how fast player burn through content.

    And besides do you really think the average player care on how much time put into the work? no they want to know if its fun or not

    new fights, ill give you that but however the mechanic will always be reused assets.

    New models but more of reskin over the existing models. Heck one model i was surprised they "changed" was the lala one. remember they used a lala model for dulia-chai

    I dunno if I'd count unreals or a new pvp season as new content really worth caring about tbh, especially without knowing what pvp is going to bring. Counting 6.1 content is just silly, for obvious reasons.



    This part is just a general reply. Actual new types of content seem to be mostly all really cool ideas, but I dunno why people are jumping to conclusions when we've not even seen any of it in game. Like savage dungeons is something people have wanted for ages, but nobody has any idea what they think should qualify as savage in four man content. Doomposting or smugposting this early is dumb.

    How about this, the only content that was unexpected was the criterion/variant dungeon and the Island Sanctuary. Everything else was expected with 6.2.

    A lot of the points that they brought up in the liveletter were great. Hopefully the content can live up to it.
    Island Sancturary sounds awesome and is the one I am looking forward the most. Just being able to have your own huge island where you can gather and build things sounds nice and relaxing. Hopefully its like they described it.

    Being able to do the variant dungeons as a solo players is great. Hopefully its interesting enough to do it for more than one run. The same with the criterion dungeon even if you need three other people. Probably wont do the savage one though but still nice that others have the chance for harder content with smaller groups.

    Hopefully the relic will be doable with a variety of old content. I greatly disliked the Eureka one and was not a huge fan of Bozja either.

    Those will exist, but considering there are plenty of Practice parties even for Savage raids, there will be plenty of groups with accessible requirements. If not, make your own.

    However, I am rather interested how job meta will turn out. Unlike raids, jobs are not balanced for dungeons. If mob pulls actually deal serious damage, WAR sustain like Nascent will be huge. For dps, AST is miles behind the other 3 healers. Also DNC and BRD are far behind melee and the 1% bonus they rely on is no longer relevant because you can only take 2 of the 3 dps categories anyway. A comp of WAR, SMN, SAM and SGE is going to be a big difference to a comp of AST, DRK, BRD and RDM.

    I would rather they forego any shiny new toy if they fix existing half finished content they threw out in the wild. Remember Lords of Vermillion? That was a neat idea, too bad about that execution. :/

    I expect to have fun. That's it. It's not the amount of content that matters. I've played games where one piece of content kept me happily occupied for hundreds of hours. Then I've played others (including this game) where there's a lot of development resource heavy content that I'm finished with or bored of in a week.

    Look at recent content. Aglaia? Done first day in 40 minutes and the gear isn't useful. Elephant tribe are 5 minute a day chores. Dungeon is absolutely a once and done worthless content. Crafting is bot ridden. EX3 is a waste of effort because we get the echo, droprate buff and totem trade later.

    The devs are working flat out and creating content, sure. But personally I just don't enjoy most of it and find myself logging off to play single player games. I only sub for Savage.
