Can we get NPC’s in the party list during solo instances?

Title pretty much. I’ve been replaying the MSQ and there are tons of instances where you need to interact with NPC’s (healer job quests, dancer quests, any time you have to kill something before an NPC dies) and interacting with them if you’re on controller is really awkward. This would be a huge help to new players

I can support this entirely. I remember certain duties being an absolute pain when I was a newer player.

I remember a few of the scholar solo instances being a pain because you're fighting big monsters and the NPC tank is a lalafell, so it's hard to find him to heal him, especially on controller. So yes, roll it into the Duty Assist system and put them in the party list.
