Crying over demolition when you don't even have a clue how long it lasts LMAO

The bottom line is demolition won't fix much but the fact it's off more than it's on begs the question as to whether or not it should exist. I believe it should and 6 months is more than enough time for it to be off. Sad thing is when it's restarted it probably won't be long before it's halted again.
After this lottery and Ishgard implementation I think the community is owed a response as to what to expect with housing long term and housing availability. It took forever for Empyreum to come online and heaven only knows when the next housing additions will be.

You can't imagine how much distraction like online game can go up in your list of priorities when you lose everything, I guarantee you that if tomorrow i lose my home again i'll do whatever i need to do to have access to internet and play whatever i was playing before everything happen.I'm pretty certain that not a single person affected directly by the war would give two flips over losing a house as there's more important things to worry about.
I know if I were in their situation I wouldn't be worried about it either.
I'm also pretty certain that it's NOT the reason they haven't turned it back on, because it makes 0 sense to have it turned off for all regions.
Just to have a semblance of order and normality. Now imagine that when you go through all that, after monthes of struggling, you manage to log on again and ... surprise you lose your house in the game too ! Now that would be Rich ! I see no valid reason to resume the demolition timer for now.
Even more when doing so wouldn't solve the current housing problem at all, i mean even if everyone were kicked out of their houses and all plot were available again, how would that solve the fact that there is not enough house plot for every player that want one in the first place anyway ?
So basically the problem is that there is not enough houses for people that want one and your solution is to take houses away from peoples that can't enjoy log on for now and give them to someone else ? That's pretty fucked up and shamefull tbh.

I'm just curious what the trigger will be for restarting demolition? How much longer is reasonable?
It's the solution we've always had. It's just been temporarily off is all. They've done this several times. Disaster happens, they turn it off, a month or so later they turn it back on. but that whole issue is going to remain a disaster for years, and unless yoshi intends to keep it off until they completely rebuild their now lost cities? He can probably just go ahead and turn it back on now.
OR! OR! Yes, give us more wards. Someone did the math on it, didnt they? Obligatory 'you made HOW much money around Endwalker??' point. They make a lot of money, so if they could at least maybe tell us-even if they cant actually do it right now because of yadayada supply chains. If they could at least tell us, "hey, we know about the housing thing, we've got 10 more housing wards on the way". That would be fantastic. Remember friends, the goal here is ultimately more houses. More INFORMATION in regards to housing. Yes I am the devil, I want demolition turned on, but its not only just that. If it were even just updated information about demolition, the lottery cycle, the fc vs pv houses, future wards-these will all be a win too. Even if they come out and say 'demos done, we're not doing it again'. Whatever! Please just give us more information in regards to this topic, thank you. If wanting more information about this topic enrages you, then I dont know...bizarre kind of cultish behavior to take up issues with people asking questions of your overlords but alright.
At this point you're so bothered that you're just lurking and swinging in all directions even trying to find some sort of glee over someone getting the timer accuracy wrong, and while I personally find that a bit alarming since you really should just avoid topics that bother you to this extent, I cannot help but at the very least appreciate how much you bump this thread, so thank you for that lmao.
Agree community deserves some communication. All subs should have access to housing. It's just hilarious to see how selfish people will be to try and snatch from others and complain about a system they are ignorant about. It's a little evil, but I am glad such people do not have a house with that attitude x) They are so hyper focused on ways to take from others players and ignoring the main issue, sad.The bottom line is demolition won't fix much but the fact it's off more than it's on begs the question as to whether or not it should exist. Hopium that lost sanctuary can scratch some of that housing itch.

Re: housing demolition
Plus, everyone who decided to get a house knew about housing demolition, and tacitly agreed to it when they got their house. There's nothing unfair about holding people to the voluntary agreements they enter into.
My spouse and I lost our respective houses when we took a long break from the game.
But we shed no tears over it: we knew about demolition when we first decided to get the houses. And it's just a glamour in a game, anyway, not, in our view, worth getting upset over.
The timer needs to be on. If you choose to not play or what ever the other problems are shouldn't affect everyone. I mean sorry you lost your house but as the saying goes it is what it is. It's called being fair and not shameful. Why should someone be gone for months and still keep their house hm? How is that fair. Sorry you were gone you lost your rights. People need to holding onto something if they know they won't be onYou can't imagine how much distraction like online game can go up in your list of priorities when you lose everything, I guarantee you that if tomorrow i lose my home again i'll do whatever i need to do to have access to internet and play whatever i was playing before everything happen.

And let's not forget that it's nearly certain that some of the people who would lose their housing plots if demolition were turned back on are people who have left the game and will never return. For example, people who died.
What do the opponents of the demolition timer (which all house owners agreed to) suggest SE do about housing owned by dead players? Keep it off the market until sea swallows all and the servers shut down for good?
You know why because it's not effecting me at all. I got more important things in my life then some strangers thousands of miles away. Maybe if either of them did better would be a better outcome. History is full of war welcome to Humanity so why shed a tear. I got my life to live not worried about others. Having a bleeding heart solves nothing, I digress but just because there are issues in the world. Can't stop for every little thing that happens. Just turn it on it's not a problem. Anyone who defends that it is off is either a casual player, stopped playing, passed away or whatever else but can't hold onto these plots for minimal reasons. When you bought the plot and knew there was a demo time YOU ACCEPTED the consequences. That is the issue these days no one wants to be held to the fact they knew there are risks and when something happens oh lordy "it isn't fair" gets shouted, Hate to tell you cupcake you knew the risks now have to deal with the consequences. You have to be a troll to even say such garbage. As for your other post, boo hoo there is a war? Boo hoo you can't get a virtual house. Suffering from war is far worse than losing a lottery in a game.
I have fingers crossed they will implement housing for all, not that hateful people such as yourself deserve it
