Should we do that for every other war then ? What about the war in Syria and other countries ? Why doesnt that matter ?

Sure go for it. I'm not the one that makes the rule. But I'll support one that makes sense and seems fair.

It would be fair if it was halted for every war that is currently going on, which it isnt.
