That's only a problem for people with laptops from 2009. Let's be real though, they aren't gonna remodel hundreds of gear when they can't even be assed to do hairstyles for some races.The problem is, if you increase the polygon count then you have also to set the minimum requirements for the game higher. More polygons mean more drawcalls and it mean more CPU utilization. Better textures are cheaper than more polygons. But i guess, they will set the minimum requirements higher. Because they want also improve the lighting. And lighting is also more CPU intensive.
