Do ARR races need an update?

Im not sure, my Miqo'te is pretty expressive. I think it may have to do with the face choice, eyebrows, ect.

Yes, the Elezen and Hyur especially need a major update. Maybe also add additional options for the others.

*Edit* intresting watch, doesnt really cover what im looking for though, like, I feel like a bit of personality could be injected into the characters, their animations smoothed our and brought up to par with even Au'ra.

All races have some "problems" in terms of design and anatomy of the models.
Sometimes i really wonder why i play a Aura because every time i see here standard idle in a cutscene or her head is moving in a neck a breaking way (because of lack of neck animation and the necks move the head forward / / instead of having it in a straight line | | what is a bad combination with small and squished heads) i just think "why they do that..."
They need to fix ALOT of parts of the models like hands, feet, necks, tiny heads, broken backs, squished heads and so on.. i doubt it they will do all that.
I expect prettier faces and textures but the same bad anatomy (at least in my opinion) like now and its not coming anytime soon anyway...

Miqote animations are way ahead of others imo, atleast the female animations are. Can't say about the male animations. Hyur and Elezen are in dire situation, face texture and model wise

I'm definitely starting to think they do, yeah. The 7.0 update will probably help to an extent, but I doubt they'll touch up animations or update the models in the ways that I'd want (i.e. change their actual designs), for fear of alienating players who are attached to the way their character looks/moves currently...
