Personally speaking...don't be ridiculous. How in the world did you get "used to it" when the changes were first put in? Are you saying people are incapable of adjusting back to what we once had? Rather, this is a mindset of one who feels inconvenienced and nothing more regarding the job.

On another note, Meditate has been brought up as being hard to utilize in it's fullest, especially in Ultimate. People argue that the reward is nonexistent, more so now that we lost all meaning in the Kenki gauge.
I have refused to play Samurai in PVE content since 6.1, I refuse to play something that is intentionally less interesting to play.
Instead I've taken back up NIN, my main since 3.0 to prog dragonsong ultimate.

IMO, NIN being able to hit 100k+ Direct Crit Hyoshos destroys any argument for SAM auto critting.

My DSR static had a SAM subbing in once, and he was just hating life in there.
P1 can't effectively double dot cuz adelphel jumps away (dots dont tick during jump aways)
P2 can't dot at all due to jump aways, sen alignment and kenki generation is also a mess
Meditate being effectively useless due to the movement requirements, I often see him run to a safe spot for 1 part of the mechanic, holds up sword to meditate, and immediately forced to move elsewhere, I doubt he even got any meaningful gain from it.

I felt so bad for him because he is a nin main but I don't have another non-sam/nin melee at bis to swap to.

Aren't you glad that Midare doesn't hit for more than a Gekko and Kasha now? (/sarcasm)

Yeah, when I DCH Hyosho I get a nice little rush. Even if I don't, I can always say "still better than ogi namikiri lolol"

Anyway, that was my experience when I first played samurai in Dragonsong and the combination of it being nuked into braindead simple as well as the way the mechanics go, I wanted something that would be a bit more stimulating for me. Thus, ninja. Yay. Didn't even have a full BIS set and even then was contributing more with only a few days worth of practice.

Ogi Namikiri still feels good, though I think the reason why they removed Kaiten was because of it also boosting Ogi Namikiri.. but to do a Kaiten before Ogi is a Learning Curve, not a Problem to call "Button Bloat"!

But it hits for the same amount as no crit or dh before 6.1. It feels very neutered compared to the 6.08 version, and so does Midare to be honest. Getting used to the pre-6.1 "highs" makes these post-6.1 "whatevers" feel worse in comparison. Not to mention a crit direct Midare easily outdamages a post-6.1 ogi, similar to how a crit direct Gekko or Kasha can do more damage than a Midare. It just feels bad no matter how I look at it.

I wish ogi namikiri felt good to use. For 2 minutes between uses, it might as well use a wet noodle to do its strikes. But yeah, using kaiten is a learning curve. Obviously.
