    This thread is cancer. It's a very simple concept, the game assigns you Roles, you choose the Role you want, you stick to that Role. Outside of the obvious mechanics of the game itself, Dungeon runs and Raids are all about teamwork, communication, and co-operation, if you're making the Tank rage and he would rather let you pull and die, that says a lot about you as a person. Especially if the Tank has already set the speed and is not comfortable increasing it. We come in all states of preference and experience, the Tank is the party leader, if you don't like it.. well then go and play Tank instead.

    I firmly believe the tank is not the sole leader, it's the team. Tanks do not set the pace, the team does.

    Because as a healer I'm just doing 2 2 2 2 3 3 3 3 3 3 3 3 3 3 3 3 3 3 3 3 3 3 3 3 3 1

    That's not fun. Until healers get more entertaining DPS abilities...best to just move it since Tanking is terribly easy to do. If you use your defensives...there is no point not to wall to wall.

    Then don't get upset if the TEAM decides it quicker to bail out with that kind of attitude too.

    As somebody who have done their fair share of every role in dungeons, the only time where people should pull additional mobs is when the tank is underpulling. Ideally, the amount of mobs pulled should be proportional to what the tank can take if both tank and healer play optimally and dps to enough damage. Finding that line is a group effort, but if the tank tell you to not pull more mobs them you do not, its that simple.

    What game are you playing? When I leveled healer and when I heal in experts I always encourage tanks to pull a lot of even go wall to wall because I want to use my whole kit. And I can guarantee you I rarely got away wtih spamming 3 skills and nothing else.
    And if I did, I would even pull more mobs myself, or tell the tank to pull more. Be assertive and push yourself, I say.

    I think it's a satirical remark to the current reality of healer's state in the game.

    WHM example: Slap Dia one by one as the tank are pulling, then Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy until everything's dead. See Assize is off cooldown, just splash that then forget about it for 45s. Guess what will happen if the tank is single pulling? Yep, more Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy Holy. What is lily anyway? We blow them in downtime between pulling with lolrapture/lolsolace so we can fire off Misery... once every 60s. What is Tetra anyway? They won't die from that lack of damage intake, they'll survive. What is Benedicton anyway? Oh we use that when tank's drop below 20% for best effect! But... mobs are already at 3%. Okay let's just not use it and let natural regen do it... :kekw:

    I can bore this post with more perky details but bottom line, -that- is not an epitome of an engaging gameplay. Healings are only useful until they're not (We already have another on-going thread for this so I won't go deeper in this thread). That's why---like you've mentioned---we want the tank to pull more, because it's literally the only little moments when we get to rotate good amount of our overpowered healing buttons.

    "Three buttons pressed" are a bit of hyperbolic statement imho but it's not too far away from the reality either & does gets the point across. It's simply stated that way because for some reason there are just some known folks here that simply won't/cannot notice the elephant in the room without it.

    well yeah, when it comes to leveling in dungeons whm is the easy mode, I suggest leaving it for last. In experts and content outside dungeons tho, unless tank is intentionally doing baby pulls, you do need to use a decent amount of your skills.

    Experts are by far the easiest dungeons to farm and the ones with the lowest healing requirements to the point every day more and more people farm them in a group of 1 tank and 3 dps doing wall to walls and outside dungeons content hits so little healers spam their 2 dps buttons even more
