Not sure what u want, if u cant advance a rank is because u belong to that rank, that have been always the case with ranking systems, Dota, LoL, or any other.

What do u think? that u can keep your win ratio the more you go up? lol is like complaining u cant win a CS:GO tournament after spending 20k hours in the game.

The only solution is to admit, you are not as good as you think u are. Here I am, stuck in GOLD as BLM only, I win 1 lose 3. Do I care? no, my goal is still the same, reach platinum... will I reach it? maybe if they balance the jobs someday :_) but the system is not the problem, is more, thanks SE for not allowing derank like other games.

It is impossible to carry a team by yourself, I remember a 10-0-34 and still lost. Your team comp and the people on it not being dumb is the only win condition.

Also, imagine taking a mode serious that is dominated by scripts, bots and win traders.

excuses, the matchmaking is bad for everyone, so it affect you the same as anyone else. What? you have a special case in the matchmaking? so only you get bad matchmaking and when you win is because you are good? SURE

Hmmm... I think that on the surface what you say appears correct. However, I wonder if there isn't something wrong with matchmaking. I say this because at times you seem to be facing the same few players on the opposing team over and over again. And if they're good that can easily lead to losing steaks. I don't know if anyone else noticed that.

Also, saying that people are in gold because they belong in gold is not actually true. I have more matches and better win/lose ratios than other people I know who are in Diamond, and that's because luck is a very important component.

Whether you have a 48% or a 56% win ratio matters way less than the distribution of your win and losses... And the distribution is pure RNG. For instance, last night I had a very long losing streak that sent me right back from gold 1 to gold 4. It completely demolished my rank. But if that had happened only a couple matches later I would have been on plat 4 and that losing streak would have barely had any impact on my rank. That's pure luck. The same happens with winning streaks. Consider this: Player 1 is really good and had a 70% win rate in his last 10 matches, distributed in the following manner - W-W-L-W-W-L-W-W-L-W. This netted him 4 stars. Now, Player 2 is above average and won 60% of his last 10 games distributed in the following manner: W-W-W-W-W-W-L-L-L-L. This resulted in him advancing 6 stars. So player 1 with a 70% win/loss ratio advanced four stars while player 2 with a 60% win/loss ratio advanced 6 - even though the difference in skill from someone with 70% wins and someone with 60% wins is GIGANTIC, the player with 60% wins is advancing 50% faster.

And this is pure RNG.

Honestly, just switch to WAR. Stop doing this to yourself. You're unnecessarily punishing yourself just like I was on GNB. Crystal rank is basically meaningless right now with how busted the jobs are anyway so you may as well do it to save yourself the stress on your mental.

Admittedly, I say that now but changes are probably taking place tomorrow so for all I know the meta could shift dramatically. Just have to wait and see on that one.

Crystal is not worthless because of the busted jobs. At Crystal both teams usually are made of those busted jobs and then the skill decides who wins or not.

In truth: Crystal will be seen as worthless because of the massive Cheatingsurge that doesnt get any attention.

Spending days and days making zero progress not because you aren't winning but because you hit an unlucky streak and every lost match is lost progress is nothing resembling enjoyable. I know I would've hit Crystal by now if it wasn't for this rank decay system. Tired of being stunlucked to death in 2 seconds despite putting up shield as a MCH or my teammates just straight up throwing matches (the amount of times I've been the only one pushing crystal while my team just fights one person 50 feet away is too many to count at this point).

I'm genuinely questioning if the people who say they ranked to Crystal super fast are either lying, cheating, or playing meta jobs exclusively.

I noticed i play worse when im nervous, frustrated or angered in some way. I also play worse when i play to long. Take your breaks. When you notice that you begin to set into a losing streak stop for the day and try again tomorrow. Worked for me.

Should it make you wanna quit the Game, quit ranked instead.

I just want to point out that over a year has passed and nothing’s changed. It’s still the same bullshit, and it sucks even harder now that they added a reward worth suffering through this nonsense for. Sucks ass that’ll I’ll probably never get passed gold unfortunately.

You're stuck in gold cuz you chase people and also run in and die alone instead of falling back when the team is losing.
