Frustrating relative lack of LGBT NPCs in this game

I mean how do we even know not every second NPC we talk with is not LGBT+? Honestly are they meant to mention it in every sentence?

"Oh thank you for bringing me that book my dear, I'm gay by the way."
"I have another request though, could you go and fetch me a potion from the alchemist? Did I mention that I'm gay?"

Is that what people want? There is no need to represent it so hard just because people on the internet like to live it out that way. It would actually be immersion breaking.

Oh wow, I was just reminded of Doctor Who when Bill was a companion. Not a single episode with her where she did not have to remind everyone and everything that she is a black lesbian. It detracts so much from literally everything.

I'd argue that has more to do with episodic storytelling than anything else.

I liked Bill, she had a lot of nice moments and it was nice to have another companion that is not in love with the Dr. My fave companion was Donna <3 SPACE MAN *scoffs*
It's been a long time since I watched the episodes with Bill, but I never got the feeling that she was 'reminding' me about anything. There was just sometimes banter with her and the doctor where being a lesbian was part of where the humour came from.
I fell off watching after Capaldi was swapped out. I didn't like having so many companions and the story was pretty meh. Shame cuz I was hyped to see a female Dr. I freakin LOVE Missy though. More of her please.

Omg I haaated Clara cause I was so salty Pond was gone xD Took me the entire season to warm up to her and even then she pales in comparison to the Ponds.
