Did you know, people find the labels you give "cisgender" etc offensive?
Not sure if it's root makes it less derogatory. There's a spanish word I could use that would result in a instant ban. So roots don't tell me much. I think it is more with the context of the word. Which I feel it was used in a derogatory way. And I would prefer if I were not referred in that way.
I don't know if I'm being disingenious here when it's pretty much always used in a negative manner go hit up twitter, have a look, it's basically like saying "the gays", also such word is meaningless outside of a medical conversation. I thought we were trying not to define people by their sexuality and stuff? Nah I guess not.is Black a slur because some people say racist things? Like just cuz some asshole says scum right afterwards doesnt mean the word itself is derogatory. That's like me saying "Blast those rebel scum" and now rebel is derogatory from it. Come on use your brain don't be disingenuous. Also what did you even search, i searched cisgender it just explains it means someone who isn't trans. or "person whose sense of personal identity and gender corresponds with their birth sex."
EDIT:
Keep being disingenious when the conversation is about the usage of "cishets" I guess.

okay then as a person who isn't trans and is straight what would you prefer the adjective to be.Not sure if it's root makes it less derogatory. It's called a descriptive word. It's an adjective used to describe things. Hope this explanation helps.
So in a sentence when you're describing people who arent LGBT what do you say?
The things I listed I used for everyone LGBT or not.
I refer to most people as sir or ma'am as I am southern and as a child I would be popped in the mouth for not saying this, as I was told it was disrespectful.
