Nothing very interesting in that post, aside from some explainations about what happened which is welcome, no infos about what will happen following the "fix" though, if the people who won will get their house or not, I would personally assume that wont be the case but who knows.

Nice that it at least confirms they have records of who entered even if they pulled out their refund already and that they haven't lost their chance.
That's not what it says though, they simply said they have the records, they didnt say anything will be given to the "winners" of the lottery.
I said this in another thread, but I know it sounds very minor and it doesn't say much. At the end of the day, we still don't know what really happened, and we still don't know what fix they will implement.Nothing very interesting in that post, aside from some explainations about what happened which is welcome, no infos about what will happen following the "fix" though, if the people who won will get their house or not, I would personally assume that wont be the case but who knows.
But one thing is to be made clear. They did show transparency about how their code works and admitted they have lottery logs. So a fix can be implemented quite easily from them, and it does show that the dev team listened to people wanting an explanation out of them that didn't sum up to "hand wave it". Considering how some people were feeling, especially from specific topics, this is honestly a good thing.
Now we just wait. We know they have the tools to fix it, but first we need to know what's up with the code. And until then those plots won't go anywhere.
Why would they bother telling us that they have the entries saved if they didn't plan to give the plot to the entry that otherwise won?

This was posted about 13 hours ago in JP.
The only take away from this thread is that they DO know who bid on the 0'd out plots. So a plot reroll for those specific plots is on the table with that data
Edit: NVM THIS NEW INFO IS HUUGGGEE
"We will continue to carefully investigate and address the causes of these types of occurrences. We still have the lottery data, and it is possible for us to confirm the status of entry applications through our database server logs. These logs will be referenced to ensure that players who have accepted their gil refund from losing the lottery will not be negatively affected by the measures we will be taking afterwards. We apologize for the inconvenience caused by these issues, but please rest assured regarding this point."
This in itself proves that yes, even if you took your gil that no, you aren't SOL from that plot when rerolled and that YES. They ARE planning to do something after they clear it up. That's HUGE as far as update goes.

Hmm still means nothing. I was "lucky" enough that our FC got a house so I was with them taking pics etc. Then I started hearing about the zero error. So I have yet to click on my Pers plot, which I am the only bidder. In the Oceanic servers not uncommon. So I will wait to till they fix this, cause atm moment with the "0" error I only have a 50% chance to win... when it should be 100%. Still cant understand how they stuffed this up. For us old peeps... computer basic (on my old Commadare 64 had functions for this) As a side I am also trained in C++. Seriously its not hard . I reaaly think the lastest 'emergency' patch changed some things.
Its an 'if' function... it is really basic stuff they have stuffed up with the zero.

I suspect that their desire is to award all the rightful winners their plot.Nothing very interesting in that post, aside from some explainations about what happened which is welcome, no infos about what will happen following the "fix" though, if the people who won will get their house or not, I would personally assume that wont be the case but who knows.
They just haven't confirmed with certainty it is feasible. We are talking 10s of thousands of plots if a manual process is needed.
