Me and my rich lala friend who spotted me the coin (it's always a lala) both rolled for houses and both won. Interestingly we both were the third applicants and the number was 3 for both of us. Not sure about my other guild mates as one of them got the 0 roll as well (rip) but for most it seems we all got a house in the same ward. Seems going for mid-number ward and high-number subdivision was the best play.

Finalized that purchase about an hour after the results were up and right after seeing the dumpster fire that was the update log about a "housing lottery issue" made sure and slapped my construction permit in, built the house and moved my shit in there as fast as I could. Friends did the same. Was a bit unnecessary since there were multiple different outcomes for the data issues and we fell into the unaffected category so nothing will happen to us but I wasn't gonna take any chances and regardless of the fix outcomes ain't no way our houses are being repossessed without serious re-compensation.

So I can't hate on the current data set or whatever used for the lotteries. I for one welcome our new lord and primal, the current lottery system
