Heal what? I just did the new Alliance raid last night with a friend and pressed literally nothing but Dosis in terms of GCD almost the entire time. Every bit of healing I needed to do could be easily covered by the occasional oGCD. In fact, I threw out completely useless Kerachloe's just for MP.
There is no healing, which is the chief complaint healers have right now. Their role has nothing to do except be a gimped DPS that occasionally heals.
"Stand in the ashes of a trillion dead souls and ask the ghosts if honor matters."
"The silence is your answer."
Ditto; That was an example of a poor button bloat fix.Agree 100% about Pitch Perfect.
I play on console, so I have cross bars.
My secondary crossbar has the songs because like you mentioned, it's not something you'll be using often.
Battle voice change is good for low levels and for deaths, as people mentioned. Definitely fairly minor, but still good tweaks.
But yeah, as stated, the Pitch Perfect change is weird, especially playing on controller. Like Hunky said, I have my songs on a secondary crossbar because you don't hit them much, but Pitch Perfect is with the normal attacks. Definitely won't be removing that from my bar.
Pitch Perfect though gets a spot on my primary crossbar because I do spam it during the song window. It should be near the other oGCDs. Making it share a button with Minuet messes up the flow.
Extremely annoying. And to be honest, Bard doesn't even suffer from button bloat. They should've left it alone.
Repelling shot change just allows for more mobility while still remaining in range for most attacks (Repelling shot range is 15y + 10y puts you at 25y which is in range for most abilities still). It's a nice QoL change.
Yeah, they break something by "fixing" something that didn't need to be fixed and no one was asking to be fixed, then can't correct what they broke in a timely manner. Good times, I tell you.
I completely agree with you. That's why I said....they should heal.Heal what? Tanks should take more damage, tank busters should bring them to their knees WITH mitigation.
AOE's should be literal heal checks.
Healers should have to manage oGCD's and MP and understanding when to use certain spells/abilities.
DPS on a healer should be secondary after they are wiping the sweat off their brow.
Healer DPS is one of the reasons I stopped switching to my AST. I have a button the fixes most boo boo's, and then it's back to 1 button spam....no thanks.
If I could I don't know....HEAL more as a HEALER...then maybe I would que as a HEALER more, but for now I'll let my static healers fight over their damage numbers.
Can we just revert this change that nobody asked for?
Watch them see these complaints and decide to turn the songs into weaponskills or remove Pitch Perfect and make Wanderer's Repertoire effect make the next Refulgent Arrow auto-crit. I'm half joking btw.
Ahh, so that's why sometimes I'm having issue with weaving Raging after Wanderer's. Quite annoying when it happens tbh.
Bug notwithstanding (which super sucks especially with it taking until the 26th to fix) the Pitch Perfect change is useless, and if I ever mistakenly remove it from my bar, extremely detrimental.
Why would I ever bind my song to something that needs to be constantly used like that
I'm surprise they went with merging the button
and not just letting pitch perfect stacks persist for 10-15 secs after WM
