Never said it always equals fun, but when they’re doing something specifically to make more money and make draw in the casual crowd which also inhibits other players at the same time, that’s when it becomes a problem. It’s pretty bad when Yoshi P even went on record to say they had to tweak their original design of Reaper because they had to make sure it wasn’t “too hard.” This mindset is what made healers shit in the first place and yeah, the housing problem is something we’ll probably both agree on, it’s taken 6-8 years just for them to address the placard issue, who knows how many more years i’d ever they’ll actually address the overarching housing problem. I’d say on a meta level, the game is going fine sure. Making tons of sales etc etc. But in terms of content, addressing sales, keeping people invested etc, i think it’s hurting greatly, and i think the only thing keeping the people affected by that subbed atm is no better alternatives. But once a better or equal alternative does come….it’ll be interesting to see how it plays out and how 14 plans to keep its players.
