Support for FCFS housing in 6.1

Some players would rather take a shot at a FCFS plot (even if it means getting up at odd times), than have a very miniscule chance at a plot through the lottery system. Keep in mind that the duration of lottery period, as of the live letter that discussed this, is set to a few days.

Some people seems to think the lottery period could be a full week, like the weekly reset. Just think, 10-whatever amount of houses are in that lottery period…. You put your raffle in… then after a few days or a full week you lose.

Rinse and repeat…. Sooner or later all those new wards will be full and the amount of available housing will be ZERO.

Ok, I put a raffle in on 20-25 houses total since 6.1 and lost them all. Now tell me you rather have a lottery instead of say three full wards of FCFS.

One day, all those available housing will be taken and the only new houses will be players subscription expired and instead of maybe 25-50 people putting in for those raffle houses, your next raffle might have hundreds of players for that ONE house. If you didn’t win a raffle with the enormous amount of houses at the start of 6.1, what chance do you have in 6.3 with one popping up every few weeks?

Oh hey, at least this time you didn't call everyone who does not agree with you "greedy". Many of us don't think of every scenario because NO ONE can think of every scenario. You included.

We see the situation as it has been, and for many, that simply hasn't worked out for them. It's time for a change.
