You say '' we '' but there is no actual legit statistics on this and what people want, going by current races tho and their popularity chances are what most people want doesn't align with what you want here tbh.
Just going by the forums isn't a good idea either to get a good view of this.
Whether it's official forums or subreddits they're infamous for not actually aligning with the average player at all a lot of devs for other games have acknowledged this.
I know that Riot has before, their subreddit isn't an accurate representation of the results they get on widespread surveys and research at all or what they actually see reflected in the game from the players.

And Au'Ra being similar didn't kill the race.
If anything it'd actually make it more popular if it's '' Miqo'te 2.0 '' if we're being a bit real here.

Popularity isn't an argument here. The Hrothgar by design of being a BeastRace will be Niche no matter what.
No matter how many people love Charr, or Khajiit, Argonians, Gnolls, the Tauren or Worgen and Vulpera, there is always more Human/Humanoid Representation. People just always usually float to human looking designs, while animalistic designs are loved, are still Niche by comparison.

People refer to the Hrothgar as having a "better Roe Body" they just hate the Hunch. FemHroths can Follow suit and have a "Better FemRoe body" and maybe without the Hunch considering they are "Queens"
They will look fine with the FemRoe body, I think they would be Better with the FemRoe body. Tall, Strong, Confident. More games and More Devs, and even more players shouldnt shy away from Tall Built Female Characters.

If the Possibility Opens up for more Anthropomorphic Beast Races, we could always have the Lupin.
They kind of already have this 'perfect/popular' bodytype some people want on the Hrothgar.

Oh I love my Hrothgar ALT.
But I do agree I wish there are more custom options and More Gear made for them.

Be awesome if they could make some Special Lv1 Glamours for the Hrothgar that are either easily crafted, or sold cheaply by some Vendors

One can enjoy playing their race and still have concerns about it. I love my hrothgar to death, but I still want better for him.

There always seems to be like..,.this weird notion that if you have some criticisms about whatever, then you must outright dislike it.

Thanks. At first I was a bit apathetic towards the idea of female hrothgar, but nowadays I find myself a bit excited about their inclusion. Funny how things change.

I'd love to see some female hrothgar concept art from the ffxiv team, but I doubt it'd happen any time soon.

They're the "Queens" of the species, so, since that (dumb, since they never run on all fours) hunch is a quality of the species, they have it. Otherwise it's just...well, frankly, it's just the usual, but it's still dumb. We get it, female characters sell more stuff, but come on.

I honestly wish popularity wasn't an argument so things like this weren't up for debate just because it tickles your fancy.

Look, I'll speak plain, hrothgar is a beast race and it appeals to the furry demographic. Let them use the fem roe body. If what it would take for you to want to use a fem hroth is a lithe body with a more humanized face maybe the race isn't for you.

Female roegadyn body on its own doesn't even look bad at all. I'm not a fan of their faces, particularly their noses, but if we're just talking physique, they look fine to me. A physique similar to that would really suit female hrothgar in my opinion. Let's not forget female ronso from ffx, the race they are based off of, are quite big.

I'm tempted to make an alt female hrothgar when they come around the more I think about it.
