VIERA AND HROTHGAR COMPLAINT MEGATHREAD

I wish they would, they've shown they're too lazy to do it themselves so we'd at least have it that way.

It's sad when modders outdo a triple A company, but it's happening more and more these days.

I have this doubt after I saw a modder who is making an excellent work. He is not only clipping the ears, but remodeling EVERY had in the game, to fit in these races. A really detailed work that would be nice if implemented officialy, since moding the game is against the rules.
I will not bring his work here, because I have fear to loose my account, or the modder suffer something (like SE "shut down" the mod, or ban his account).

I don't know if it's possible or easy to do. I just remembered other games that buy something from modders and make it official.

It'd be nice if when female Hrothgar was released they were released with a big rework of Viera and Hrothgar that fixed the hats and hair issue.

They've done nothing but handle the two races poorly since their launch.
You could kinda give them a pass because they even said it was stressful to do in SHB
but now we're in EW and they're still treated badly is my issue. Still going to laugh
when the Femroth's have like 2 faces and 2 hairstyles, maybe 3 if we count our blessings.

No problem. I have faith that in the next event, they will put another hair and hat on the rewards... of course both, viera and hrothgar, won't be able to use them

Doesn't help that the 'sexy dimorphism' trope where males are outright furries/monsters and females are "human with animal ears/horns" is also a very popular trope in anime and rpgs - Neko and Kemonomimi are in on itself a popular trope for japanese audience, afterall... a trope that is already quite saturated with Miqo'te and Au Ra, Viera just being the cherry on top.

That said, aside from maybe popularity, Hrothgals having a more humanoid face would likely be reduntant regarding the whole hat/hairstyle fiasco anyways. I mean, Viera are in the same boat, and they're literally just another 'human, but with-' race. If they're going to "fail" either way, might as well stay consistent and please the few people that do want to play an actual non-human character /shrug

One of the biggest reasons I never wanted to play WoW was the sexual dismorphism, in there the females always look young, small and pretty, and the males look old, big and rugged... It's kinda insulting to me and turns me off, feels like it's designed for men by men. (aka other man can't be attractive)
