if you don't know what exactly square would need to make it work, and make it work stable at that, than how exactly does what you linked "proof" that they could simply go ahead and buy what they need ?
Server setup 1-5 days for this specific Pretty hefty rig.
But you are 100% correct, I do not know the exact specifications of the servers nor how many would be needed. It's simply conjecture on my part.
What isn't conjecture though is the proof of the lie that these things are impossible to come by. I'm sorry but that's simply untrue. Sure they'd have to spend more, which I believe is why it's not happening.
Apologies, the question I was answering was the fallacy that servers en masse are no longer available. Which, by providing that link, can be seen as false. I have stated several times I know not of the power the XIV servers require though I'd hazard a guess they're not as powerful as the one I linked to there.
So you're gonna present yourself as having a case while admitting that you dunno squat diddly.Apologies, the question I was answering was the fallacy that servers en masse are no longer available. Heh.... Just one of those options isn't even a 1/1000th of the power they need.Apologies, the question I was answering was the fallacy that servers en masse are no longer available. That's just one row of several racks of one section of a server of one data center.
There is no fallacy, there's nothing that compares to their hardware in compatibility and speed and connection routing. That picture is showing 28 X 34 million USD in current over priced components, if they could even get them. This is not taking into account deployment time, assembly, internal testing, latancy routing, cooling etc etc etc.
