Square Enix is running out of ideas for raids

By the way, it's also kinda stupid to assume watching others clear it is not the same once you're an experienced raider. If anything, the fact that veteran players can watch a clear PoV and pretty much half-digest the fight shows how routine, insipid and uninspired these raids are. That is a symptom that they have rehashed the same raid design style and mechanics so often that any veteran player can quickly pick up the gist of a mechanic because they've seen the same thing hundreds of times.

My opinion is unlikely to change within the next few days as I clear this tier.

The typical argument to call for patience before assessing or evaluating a certain aspect of the game is getting real tiring though. You just need to be moderately smart and have some experience in the game to see the issues before you actually experience it for yourself. I've not changed my opinion on Summoner, for instance, because it's awfully obvious from Day 1 that it's going to be a braindead job to anyone with more than a few neurons capable of analyzing the situation for themselves.

It still cheapens the own experience. Watching other streamers clear the content seeing the machanics beforehand is just not everyones thing. I do not judge as plenty people watch other raiding streams and/or guides once they are out.
I'm not saying this is the best tier ever, far from it it does have it's issues but I find those fights fun nonetheless at least from what I've seen in the 2 hours I've been in yet. I migh change my opinion, I'm not saying the tier is good, I just withold my judgement until I've done and seen everything myself.

It's also okay to have a different opinion. The world would be boring if we'd all agree on everything.

In the end the most fun raids are ultimates anyway. Then again I really liked E8S too.
