Just goes to show how severe the chip shortage is. To be honest, I think they may not fully realize how popular the game is. I imagine the situation feels rather surreal to them. Like it is really weird saying that a game sold too well.What's really wild with the suspending sales/advertising is... they may very likely have no solid idea how long they'll have to be suspended. Maybe they're hoping, like the rest of us, that things calm down quickly enough that they can resume sales by the end of the year or something. But, they could seriously be looking at waiting until they've got new hardware...
That is grim. I mean, I know they won't necessarily be suffering for it. But, that's definitely an admission of defeat, that they can't keep up.
