Excellent, I appreciate keeping in touch, trying to abate their own success. . . lol!, not giving up on the error 2002, and naturally the 14 days.
Of course I'd like to easily log in and am not loving that issue lol, but given the situation, and that they're staying in communication (and continuing to compensate for issues too).. not feeling particularly disgruntled by the affair. So long as they continue to try and improve the situation I just wish everyone the best of luck, fun, and sanity- that includes SE and it's employees. I can't imagine the potential stress that some departments may be invoked upon due to this stuff. So hopefully we can get through it together with both the players and the employees feeling like the situation is fair.
With planning, and some tech solutions (remote desktop ahead of arriving home), I have been able to play each day, and after the last update I've felt less issues trying to get in (minus the recent 5003 that happened a few hours ago.... lol).
I'm aware some people may be more upset than I, and that's their feelings, I'm not saying they're not allowed - just that I'm not displeased given the handling and situation. (I am aware some people feel they're not allowed to be upset and may read it as a white knight kiboshing other's feelings, I'm just saying I'm not as I feel they're trying - and I wish all well, good luck in their queues, good luck for SE finding their servers, and all our health to not have too much stress on the matter).

Yeah, same for me. I do realize that for some people it's just not possible to play at all, but for me it's just been about planning it out a little. On my days off I've been able to log in early so I miss the queues. On my work days, I log in as soon as I get home and just let the queue roll while I do other things (make dinner, eat, shower, etc.) and have learned what the situations on my PC that seem to lead to me getting the 2002 more often so I can avoid them. It's not ideal but it's allowed me to play every single day since the expansion launch, whether it be a clear day off or a work day.
So... 21 total days of free game time.
No new players as the servers are already too full, and they still can't get new servers because the rona fucked over production of computer parts.
On the release of 6.01 (and more specifically 6.05), for most people who aren't going to be in the race for world first savage clears, it'll just be another annoyance of early access launch day levels of queues. And whoever ends up getting it, everyone else is gonna whinge about how they got lucky with a short queue or whatever. Typical MMO drama stuff.
And even if they did delay the release of the patch, they'd still run into the same issues on the patches new release date. Because they still wouldn't have the ability to get new servers rolled in.

Ah, c'mon. We all know those tiny mid patches are just a tiny blip compared to expansion launch and queues never surge that high for the tiny amount of added content.
The thing is, most of the people who would be interested in trying to get the world first clears and what not probably aren't currently too actively playing as they're very likely in full Moonward gear waiting for 6.01, when it hits they'll jump back in.

I didn't even thing about the free trials... I am usually all for it but it indeed doesn't make sense for free users to access the game at the moment, when paying customers are struggling to get in.

I don't think Free Trial players have been able to play since early access. Just gives them an error that they can't join the queue because of their status.

They have, actually.I don't think Free Trial players have been able to play since early access. Just gives them an error that they can't join the queue because of their status.

It depends on the queue. In early mornings like 8am the queue times are often low enough to allow f2p player to join in. But later on the day that no longer is possible. I dont know the treshold at which the queue locks them out though.
I also wonder if this patch will already open up the new housing areas. Because due to the queues a lot of players would then be locked out from its auction as they cant log in. I hope they will delay this for them to keep it fair.
