Official Response to Congestion (as of Dec. 11)

All good, my official response is unsubbed by dec 28th unless its fixed by then, ill be off till it is. Im not even mad at SE honestly. I'm mad at the players and community. When you get logged in and run through a town like limsa and see tons of obvious afk people... the gamer community is terrible. The problem cant even rest 100% on SE. Honestly i think it would be funny if SE did rolling zone resets randomly on cities to force everyone off in the zone with a 2 to 3 minute warning to clear the zone. I dont care who this antagonizes. Its evident the aether community of afks dont care either anyway. I blame this generation of bad parrenting and kids that can do whatever they want and get away with it.

Eh, can vary. I'm currently wired in, but my ethernet cable is wobbly, and if it wiggles loose, I get an instantaneous 90k, even though my computer immediately switches over to wifi.

This happens because changing from ethernet to wifi causes a change in network adapter, resulting in TCP connections breaking. Windows will immediately close these connections, resulting in an instant 90k.

UDP would remain operational, but the game runs over TCP.

I'm just physically exhausted having to get up and play from 4 am to shortly after 6 everyday and if anything comes up on the weekend, we'll the whole day is no play. I dont need to look at server pops to know this was a problem long before the wow players and vid. I remeber when I first made my account in 2018 they had queues and preffered worlds. The reality is square didn't want to invest in new servers and now we are the ones paying for it. I do not own any other game that operates like this and it's crazy to read so many comments about people sitting in 6 hours queues. I dont even try later on once I log out for work in the morning. You can't even transfer servers if you wanted to since no characters can be created on any servers atm. The only good thing I noticed today while I was redownloading blasphemous was EW is unavailable on the ps store and it should absolutely stay that way until they fix this horrible situation. I've found a way to make it work at a physical cost and I just think it's sick what people have to go through just to play.

I am surprised that this hasn't been brought up or mentioned, but I am currently having this issue at the moment. I am currently in the game, been playing for a while, and I just happen to be unlucky to do "World Hops" to get cheap mats for my leves during a world boss fate (which I didn't know of course, I don't pay attention to that if I'm not looking for it.)

TLDR, at the time I realised why I couldn't go back to Gilgamesh, I was like, "Okay. 30 in que isnt so bad. Its 5am HST. I'll just wait and give it a little bit."

It is 1pm HST. I have several FC mates that logged in with a bigger much bigger que number than me. Someone that logged out 4 hours ago, logged back in and I'm still waiting to go back home. Too scared to cancel que and try again.

1. Can we have a full transparency on how the World Visitation que's operate versus Log-in ques?
2. Who (the players) are the priority in this case?
3. Am I being placed at the back of the line constantly? Because that doesn't seem fair if I have been in line longer than others.
